Great tutorial! You are such a smarty pants! 😁 I have always had excellent results using SOS pads. Not steel wool!! The soap in the pad magically resticks the mat and the abrasiveness of the pad removes all the gunk. I've never had to use glue. Always air dry. So I'm really old and still use my original Cricut machine and I can still use the mat that came with that machine using this restick technique. I've used that mat so much you can see through it!

Thanks Lori! I haven't tried SOS pads...sounds like a great idea. I can't believe you still have your original mat. I'm guessing the adhesive quality was a lot better when they made those. You're a smarty pants for being able to hang on to that one and keep using it. Lol!😉

SOS pads are steel wool, with soap added.
