Tasty job. Some people use timber and screws instead of the concrete edge for securing. What makes you use concrete?
A concrete haunch is used for the purpose of longevity as a wooden frame will rot eventually.
How to seam artificial grass if they are cut across the stitches?
The second layer was grano dust but what was the first?
Type 1 sub base I think 🤔

£500/600 for half decent grass tĥen you need type 1, granno dust, weed membrane, nails, grass fill and a bit of profit to cover labour costs.. £1600 is very reasonable for 5x5m. You wouldn't have much change if you diy'd it tbf unless you got very cheap quality grass.

This customer was fed up of having a very awful looking lawn that was not growing very well so decided to have artificial grass as it will be very beneficial for them and increase the value of the house. Since having the artificial grass installed his little one is enjoying the garden more they have paid for the lawn to be replaced on numerous occasions and it does not grow well so on this occasion artificial grass was the best answer.
Have you thought about having artificial grass yourself?
