I remembered today that Chris Awdry’s era didn’t have too many stories involving a great amount of excitement. It can be argued that’s down to improved safety precautions so it only makes sense to focus on the road friends for a little while, especially the rag tag team on Thomas’ line.
This volume’s off to quite a fun start. Not sure why the farm hand wanted to destroy the stand, or what his vendetta against his manager was, but it made for a really fun adventure. It’s also a nice gesture to make use of Elsie, even for a throwaway line.
Looking forward to the rest of the volume anyway.
His vendetta comes from being fired by Farmer Finney! Though it serves him right for stealing produce!

@@TheSaint491 its still a great story. we never got a situation when a human being wanted to wreck farm machinery before as an act of revenage or getting even with a elderly Farm tractor

A gorgeously, quaint story. Reminds me of being 6 and having my Mum read me the RWS as a bedtime story. Wonderfully written and brilliant to have a story about Terence. A character who often blends into the background. Well done!
Wow! This is a great story! You got a real knack for writing stories like this man, as you fit everything well into the whole Thomas the Tank Engine franchise. I even love how you gave Terence spotlight, as he’s my favorite non-rail vehicle, as he’s so underrated and every time he appears, I always think of the classic model series more. Can’t wait to see the next stories, and keep up the great work!
Very well done, man! It's lovely to see such an interesting story set in Chris' time era. I LOVE the "rebelliousness" of it too -- hearing someone wanting to wreck Terrence for some reason feels really different, and in a good way. Usually it would've been just wanting to "sabotage" him or something, but you took it the extra mile!

I mean wow the illustrations are so damn close to Close too Clive spong! I wish that this can be adapted by Carson please ask him mike I consider this story worth adapting! Absolutely worth it! Although I know TCF studios may have already adapt it but I would love it if Carson adapt this as well
