Is Bloxburg ACTUALLY dead? (and what I plan to do about it)

- It feels like Welcome to Bloxburg on Roblox might actually be a dead game, which saddens me. Here's how I plan to move forward here and in Bloxburg. This is an amazing house building game that I don't want to let go of 😥

What is Roblox?:
ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, Roblox is Kid friendly, PG, Family Friendly + No Swearing but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, to a giant pinball Mac!

its a bit sad whats happening to bloxburg now. I feel like it had so many opportunities and potential but they played it wrong

-Dress to impress as that video was super fun
-TOTAL ROBLOX DRAMA ISLAND (it's such a fun game and I think would make a great video)
-Bloxburg kahoot quizzes
-Playing tower of heck until I RAGE QUIT!!
Sorry if some of these ideas are roblox, I thought you wanted roblox video ideas not bloxburg so I did a few! And yes I agree bloxburg really is just becoming dead.. 😥And 100% I would LOVE to see paralives videos bc i really do need another building game.. 💯
Personally, for content id say touring houses or homes, as the past ones you have done are really popular. Id also love to see some sims content, maybe building a sims house in bloxburg?
This is how I feel towards Royal High. But as for bloxburg, it doesn’t seem it’s dying to me, or maybe that’s just because I stay out of the loop with all the drama
If the point of bloxburg becoming free during the summer was to get more people to play, that backfired TREMENDOUSLY. Like I'm sorry but they really should've thought it through a lot better. Personally, I don't think it becoming free had much to do with the game dying but it was mostly the other stuff, ie lower pay, more bills, no map revamp.
And yes, I know the game devs didn't specifically say they would release the map revamp when the game became free but it was implied it would happen shortly. Regardless, if they would've explained to the community that the map revamp would take longer than expected before the game became free, I think people would still have the trust of the developers.
The play count is literally less than before it was free 💀

Seems there off there break now, from there recent teasers. Bloxburg is one of the best buildings games on roblox, seems this next update will help improve on that aswell as giving opportunities for roleplays.
Yeah, I recorded this sometime last week. What I've seen from the teasers hasn't seemed all that wonderful to me, but we shall see!

Sims 2 and 3 had updates. Lots of games get "updates", some in the form expansion packs. Also, Roblox format is nothing like single player/offline games.
@@jsimlady dlc isn't the same thing as an update. Just like Sims 4 has dlc while also receiving updates to the base game. Once upon a time games were released and at that point you can't go back and update the game. If there were bugs, then there were bugs. And yes, of course there's a difference. The point is for me, the ideal is for a game to just be released and not to expect it to continually be updated because this is what has happened time and time again in this day and age of gaming. Games don't release in their full form and then people are left feeling let down especially when the developers can't keep up with the expectations of the players.
@@naoetry Actually, no, often times game updates and bug fixes were included with expansion packs for the original Sims game. As for 2 and three, they absolutely did do patches and updates, that included bug fixes. If you think The Sims 2 and 3 are so old they didn't have internet and therefore didn't do bug patches. . . Also bug fixes and game changing - adding features - updates are two very different things. What is wrong with a game getting either of both of those things? Did you really want Bloxburg to just sit 2014 style . . . forever?

@@jsimlady not everyone gets expansion packs. And sure, they may have gotten big fixes and patches, but I'm guessing they didn't keep adding to the game significantly (maybe that's incorrect, but my experience with Sims 2 was absolutely nothing changed from the moment I downloaded it). That's what I really mean with the updates thing. The bug fixes comment was just a way to make that point, but I guess it doesn't work for Sims 2 and 3. But those as examples aside, there were games that didn't receive bug fixes when that wasn't widely possible. BUT as already stated, my actual point is games being released as their full form, not being released intentionally unfinished with the expectation of updates that add significant gameplay features to the game. Once in a while some developers do still decide not to release a game to the public until it's in its full form. Anyway, there is so much more I could keep going on about but I have many other things that need my attention.

But I digress, I just found it strange to say you can't wait for updates but also that you wished games didn't do updates "like The Sims 2 and 3" - which is not even true, they did update by adding on to the base game and bug fixes. But again It doesn't really matter that much, just odd.
They couldve atleast removed the fourth of july fireworks.. i feel like keeping the old update and the game cover is just making people even more impatient cause its old, 100% agree too bloxburg and roblox itself is way more active with kids off school now ..they're kinda wasting time
First and foremost only make the content you want to and love ❤ if you love bloxburg building vids do that if you love crochet do that!
I think the streaming idea is really nice i could def see myself studying to a long crochet/bloxburg/everything stream (ide probably have to watch vods though cuz i dont rlly study in the morning lol 😅)
