    Immer wieder ein großer Genuss, dem Barockorchester mit Dorothee Oberlinger zuhören und zuschauen zu können!

    Dorothee Oberlinger has to be my favorite recorder player!! I did not know the bass recorder could be such an expressive solo instrument and could project so beautifully. Such a genius choice to contrast between the first piece and the second piece, doesn't just bring out the best in both works but also shows off her virtuosity and skill in all recorder sizes!! Lovely!!!!

    GRACIAS! En poco más de 5 minutos me proporcionaron un viaje a esa época de renacimientos y de paz que en ésta no es fácil experimentar. Un viaje en el tiempo, un viaje casi astral.

    Great and interesting interpretation! It brings out the hidden melancholy character in this fast, cheerful piece (Schiarazula Marazula), ... and this is also supported by the "terminality" of the choice of recorder pitch.

      Thanks a lot for notice → really: tuned in "C" & one octave below the "Tenor" :-). Quite uncommon, large recorder, magnificently sounding in both registers.

    • @josemenendez8549
      @josemenendez8549 Před 3 lety +3

      Actually not a contrabass, but an f bassett recorder.

    • @trhlajz
      @trhlajz Před 3 lety +1

      @@josemenendez8549 No, - please try check the fingerings (upper / lower hand) e.g. during play-along with video. This recorder↑ is obviously tuned in "C" (although probably NOT in modern, contemporary 440 Hz frequency). So when you try to play with Dorothee, any "F" tuned recorder (Bass, Alto) needs a fingering VERY_DIFFERENT (compared with video), - but with the any of "C" tuned recorders (e.g. Tenor) the fingering is nearly the same as seen in recording. :-)

      @josemenendez8549 Před 3 lety +3

      @@trhlajz Hello Jan. She is using a Yamaha bassett in F with a 415hz middlejoint. I have exactly the same instrument, and also a Yamaha Greatbass in C. I played along with the video, and both fingerings and tuning matched with an F bassett at 415hz. It's a pity I can't share here pictures of the instruments to compare their size. On the other hand, a Yamaha Greatbass in C is too big to be played directly without a cap and tudel and has a completely different footjoint than the bassett played here by Dorothee.

    Is this really medieval music? It sounds modern.

    • @jessecerasus9621
      @jessecerasus9621 Před 3 lety +3

      The original melody is one thing and the arrangment is another one.
      The melody comes from medieval time but the arrangment is defenetly not

      Normaly its a fine n very swinging populaire italian medieval theme meand by his amazing words to exorcise the tramatism of the fact that Dead will take us all in his time but this particilar version is just far away from what it could be. Nearly pathetic 😂
