I whacked decanted TAMIYA TS-95 Pure Metallica Red straight onto an un-primed, un-cleaned body with an IWATA Custom HP-TH and the finish is incredible, no orange peel WSE. The TSs are pre-thinned perfectly the solvent degreases the surface and bites into the plastic so no need for primer or cleaning. And using a wide/fan AB it gets the paint onto the body wet, in even coats, not just spraying dried paint dust onto uneven coats it also doesn't dry the thin line of paint you've just sprayed on. sanded between coats and decals and a coat of clear coat without leveller for a finish Mr. Honda would be stunned at. I would use a tack cloth on the body prior to paint and also blow the dust off with the the AB @ 40psi. I wouldn't use the leveller until the last coat of colour and clear coat.
I don’t build cars, but the subjects you produce are superb, Paul. Like you, I too like a clean rim, we don’t want any cling-ons, do we! I love northern humour, being married to a Liverpool lass I’m well used to it!👍😎
Hahah yes mate we do Cheers buddy thanks for watching - Paul :)
My lunch break is sorted! 10 mins in and the attention to detail is awesome. Cannot wait to see the final result 🙌
Awesome! Thank you!
The carbon with that colour looks great. This will be a lovely looking car when its finished.

Always amazed by your work Paul. Just back into the hobby after many years off and already working on kit #4. Using so many tips from your build videos! Cheers from Vancouver.

Thanks for covering this kit _ I've had mine for three years but have been nervous about cutting plastic (and I successfully survived the Revell McLaren 570S !!) ....
Best from NZ.
Its a good kit fairly easy to build
Turned out great Paul !
Cheers buddy

Great video Paul, Cheers
Thanks mate👍
Hey, Paul. Enjoying the wonderful, detailed instruction you provide. I have a question for you about the Scale Motorsport carbon fiber. Did you use the SM1024 - medium twill weave black or the SM1524 - hi def medium-sized plain weave black & pewter?
Thanks for posting always appreciate the tips and i look forward to copying your build :)
No problem 👍 thanks for watching - Paul :)
*Lot of tools exist nowadays but modelers still use their fingers (especially for the roof!) 😂😂 Good job, this car will be awesome! 👍*
Hope so! thanks for watching - Paul :)
Hi Paul. You make stunning high quality scale models. 👍
In general, would you recommend to polish the paint with micro mesh, before you 2K gloss coat your model? Thank you!
Thank you, I only sand the paint if there's is a large flaw in it like a hair or large dust particle
Another great video Paul. NSX looking great. Nice save on the 2k.
I noticed you have your sanders in UMP modular storage systems. I’m just wondering which modules you use as I’m interested in getting some but unsure which are best for sanders?
Cheers Steven.
Hey Steven I think mines the half large 2 thanks for watching - Paul :)
Hi Love the videos. Please could you confirm the make and model of the overhead worklamp which you use ?
Anything shown in my videos is in the link in the description :) Cheers buddy, thanks for watching, sorry for the late reply - Paul :)

Glad you enjoyed it yes glad I saved it thanks for watching - Paul :)
Looking good as always mate 👍 I see you've gone for 1/24 carbon this time rather than the 1/12. Any particular reason for the change? Just curious. I like the the in-between 1/20 myself. Looking forward to the next update 👍
I just thought I looked bit less in your face on the roof, thanks for watching - Paul :)
hi paul, see your still having issues with the odd hair dropping into the paintwork ever thought of trying those hairnets they use in food shops just an idea you can pick them up for pennies if you buy them 30 at a time
I dont really have any hair to be honest, anyway its not my hair landing in it, its just random crap from the room
Paul, I just got the Indycals Volt sheet. What piece tore on you because, I don't want issues.
It was the main piece on the roof, they are poor quality all round, I will not be buying any others at all
@@InternationalScaleModeller I tried the wing first and the decal is too large if you already assembled the wing. Agreed, wont buy again
Красивый насыщенный получился цвет. В какой пропорции вы разводите краски LP?
Cheers buddy thanks for watching - Paul :)
