तोड़ दी वो बेड़ियां जो पैरों पर बांधी थी
टक्कर तब तलवारों से नहीं अहिंसावादी गांधी से थी
बह गई धर्म की दीवारें, जातियां सब अंग्रेज विरोध पर तुली थी
ये आजादी बड़ी ही कुर्बानी से मिली थी
सरदार पटेल बिखरी रियासतों को एक कर गए
नेहरू के धर्मनिरपेक्ष सपने सांप्रदायिकता में बंट गए
नदिया फिर खूनों की बही, लाशें भी जली थी
