I've never played a minute of Rust, but I love these videos. This was probably my favorite base you've made thus far. Some of the builds you make are pretty claustrophobic, but this one just seemed to flow in exactly the right way. That last 10 minutes was full on sweat!

@@tchadwick Its funny how a lot of us have the same experience. Playing rust can get repetitive and nerve racking for a lot of people or maybe because not everyone has spare time. But we can all agree watching people like Bloo, wiljum, hjune, welyn etc is both fun and relaxing.
Same, youtube recommendations threw a Stevie vid my way like a year ago. These Rust videos have become my favorite background noise.

This uses a Gamelightz offset bunker (he has tutorial videos) and the rest of the base is pretty simple.
Once WillyJ hit those MC tunes while sorting out his kits, Peak satisfaction content!

Fun fact about that bunker design you can attach 3 separate triangle bunkers. Essentially the 3 triangles off a square tile and those can simultaneously pop 3 separate entrances. Think middle one for tc and sides as 2 rooms for loot. All 3 bunkers separate and space far enough splash damage can’t hit all 3 triangles.
2nd fun fact destroy 1 half wall and all this colapse where Willjum make this half wall only sheet metal not hqm so this bunker is sheetmetal not hqm

cave bases are so much fun, I remember building a few in my rust days. I don't play rust anymore, haven't for years. It's changed so much since I played and even tho I don't play anymore... Still love watching rust videos.

Video Idea: build a base with conveyors which bring loot to another base. then try to get raided so the new owners of the "trap" base start living in it. then activate the conveyors from your other base and steal all their loot
that would be so funny but the chances of pulling it off
Its so difficult because the piping cant go through walls etc.. so hard to hide

After building strong bases like that, you should post it's location when you're done with your wipe and have your fans try to raid it and post the fan's screenshot after raid results. Could create quite some interesting after wipe battles.

This first week has had its up's and down's -- I've played many survival/fps games before, but this channel is so inspiring being a solo player and made me WANT to play a video game for the fun, and not just to pass time :)

You can stack small boxes. Just has to be clipped in to open double door. You gotta remember that this type of bunker may break the mechanic, as 'block updates' for lack of a better term destroy all stacked boxes, leaving loot on the ground. Simply sealing or unsealing bunker might break them. Dont forget about drop box storage.

Definitely should of put a vending machine where you had that temporary door. It works as honeycomb, and gives you a ton of extra storage in a base that small.

Most of the community is fine. Got raided last wipe, the kid joined our party to trash talk but it was too wholesome, now we're playing together

I made a similar base design to this however I believe I optimised it a little better than your base, instead of 2 triangles I did this with just one square and you can fit so much more loot in it and at the end of the build its 3 walls to core and ridiculously cheap to build, definitely my best build, I made a short video on it but its not youtube quality but Id be happy to send it to you.

I played around with it and you can get a tool cupboard with 1x large box, 2x BBQs, 5x small boxes and a camp fire. Will do a screen shot for you if your interested? Plus I would love to show you how to get the most storage in your 3 triangle base you usually build my friend 😊
