How to clean a throttle body

Throttle body is a very important part of your engine as it controls the breathing of the engine and how much air it uses. It's always recommended to give it a good clean. This will improve the performance of the engine or resolve weird issues if exist (like stalling, poor idle, low RPM, etc..)
I used standard carburetor/injection cleaner spray and a tooth brush to remove the carbon and dirt.
This video explains the correct way of cleaning the throttle body on a Suzuki Baleno 1999 but the method is almost the same for most non-automatic throttle body cars. For automated throttle bodies the method is the same except you should not touch the butterfly since it's controlled by a motor that will be damaged if the butterfly forced to move manually.

Do not follow this video. This guy opened rpm sensor.. Which can not be adjusted without computer and secondly he do not clean the IAC valve.. Which is the main purpose for opening and cleaning throttle

under the rear seats in the fuel tank, if you can cut in the middle of rear seat exactly tht would give you access to it without dropping the whole gas tank

seriously!. thats what you call a throttle cleaning. you didnt clean the IAC valve. any way that was pretty nasty throttle. now cleaned.
