Gnosticism is Unbiblical and Sean had alot of it embedded in his false Theology beliefs 😢
I was really confused in the beginning where he said that Anthony was pushing gnostism.
It's weird because that his position.
Sean "kingdom in context" is a false kingdom out of context.
This had me ROTFL, when Sean said this about believers of the trinity.
"They should discard their Bibles and they should find a serpent worshiping Mystic Guru who creates his own metaphysics and his own theology. And his own mathematics, his own philosophy similar to Plato."
I immediately thought, "man, that sounds alot like Sean". 🤣
That is a better thought than thinking God told us to pray to God in God's name.
@marksimpson4215 🤣🤣🤣 Agreed, I don't believe God told us to pray to God in God's name either. That's not the Trinity
@@ty1158 Then you agree, Jesus is not God, Jehovah is?
@marksimpson4215 Nope. I don't agree with that. Jesus is the incarnation of the person of the son within the Godhead. The trinity is not three different God's. its three persons who are all equally God.
@@ty1158 Jesus is not Jehovah is my point and the Trinity is a twisted viewpoint, Jesus is the son of Jehovah and I find it funny that Christians are afraid to use their own God's name.
Anthony - pleasure listening to you and wow you sure know Scripture. You are a blessing to His Body. God bless you and your family.
Whoever Sean is, the guy will be like Joseph Smith. He could come up with his own interpretation Bible in the future. Twisted Scriptures all over the place. The guy is lost!
What do you mean "could be"? He already came up with his made-up interpretations.
he is a full blown heretic, like the dictionary definition of heretic it doesn't get much worse
If I were Sean, after the first debate with Anthony, I won't go for a second debate. This is total destruction and exposes Sean to not even know the Bible. He focuses on gnostic writings than the inspired word of God. What a shame. I feel sad for his followers
Sean's Christ is not the Christ of the Bible. You can't ignore scripture and redefine words: Our Great God, The Word was God, Creator of All, Before All, Worship, or "I Am". He is deceived, and this is sad for him and infuriates me at the same time, because he is deceiving others. This is the spirit of the anti-christ. I pray he opens his eyes, repents, believes, and confesses Jesus Christ, our Great God and Savior; or he will die in his sins. 2:41:41 😢
But your God dies.
@@stargategoku Read between the lines???? WHAT IS GODS NAME? How can you glorify his name? Since you know the bible, have you read he wants his NAME glorified, what is between those lines? I know Jesus, while on the cross pleaded to Jehovah and this is what disproves the trinity doctrine. Jesus does nothing by his own, will but only the will of Jehovah.

Very interesting when Anthony's opening is filled with bible verses when Griffter's is filled with 'philosophy' yet accuses Trinitarian theology of being a philosophy. Also he keeps saying, "not in scriptures" yet Anthony explicitly sites verses. What do you mean?
Yup, dude's a deceiver due to pride.
Because trinity is a philosophy and the topic is about it
Sean started off snarky, got whiny during the cross-ex, and looked downright broken by the end.
Amen...Satan works confusion and distress thru the wicked. While God brings Joy in His word. 📖💥💕
Exactly right.
Hahahahahah facts
This Sean is such a drama queen with his hysterical 'shut ups'. Disgusting behavior. And some people follow him like a guru, what a shame.
@@Michael-ed5fs The "shut-ups" were actually pretty hilarious, only because a Muslim did the same thing in debate a while back to the apostate Neophyte (Flapjacks Shamoun) so it brings back memories.
Rogers bemused look every time Sean mumbled his gibberish. Very amusing.
Sean's incomprehensible theology just makes him seem like he opposes any Biblical and traditional understanding of God just to be a contrarian for contrarian's sake.
1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was MANIFEST in the FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Why would Paul Specify a mere man being manifested in the flesh unless he was as the Bible says in this verse, GOD was manifest in the FLESH. Sorry no way around that one. Manifest simply means something that was hidden that has now been revealed. All men are born in the flesh… that’s no big deal! But a God that is revealed by being born in the flesh, that’s a big deal!!
Amen
No. "He was manifested in the flesh".
Why would GOD need to be "Justified in the spirit. Seen of angels. Preached unto the gentiles, received up into glory"?
hey sibling in Christ in case CZcams didn’t notify you an anti-trinitarian heretic responded
No it actually says, “manifest”… not that I think it matters. Maybe I’m confused with the question, but the Bible brings it up to show the divinity of Christ. Mark 1:10 shows how he was Justified by the spirit.
MARK 1:10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the SPIRIT like a dove descending upon him:
Also HE is justified by the Spirit When WE believe on Jesus Christ, and WE have the dwelling of the Holy Spirit. So another words, we believe and call on Jesus, and the Holy Spirit justifies Jesus by dwelling in us after that decision. In the reverse the Holy Spirit wouldn’t dwell in us if he didn’t justify Jesus.
Romans 8:11 “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
Jesus was justified by the Spirit when the Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead after he was falsely accused and condemned. The Holy Spirit reverse that judgment and justified him when he raised him. As far as your other questions about being seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles and received up into glory, I just don’t understand why you’re arguing that. Paul is simply showing Jesus the God/man was seen, and justified in deity and spirit..
Did you know that the Bible says that Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead? I didn’t watch this whole debate, but I’m sure he probably brought it up. What else do you need?
I give these verses to Jehovah Wonesses.
John1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
1 John 5:7 “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
Also a quick search of a Strongs concordance on the Greek word for Manifest says:
“to make manifest or visible or known what has been hidden or unknown, to manifest, whether by words, or deeds, or in any other way
make actual and visible, realised
to make known by teaching
to become manifest, be made known
of a person
expose to view, make manifest, to show one's self, appear
to become known, to be plainly recognised, thoroughly understood
who and what one is”
Sean's theology is so nauseating.... Anthony and the truth in Scripture prevailed! Praise the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
The fact is that God never said He was Father Son and Spirit, one God. Think about that!
@@fjz8307 The same way God never said there was another creator other than him, think about that too
@@fjz8307 Apparently you're not reading the bible at all, because the SCRIPTURE is the revelation of GOD not man's perception, GOD SAID HE IS FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT when you take scripture as a whole and not cherry pick verses to suit yourself.
\
I understand your reaction. I made an important point. The dogma as such is not in the Bible. The church formulated it. Jesus and the apostles did not abandon belief in one God. Again, show me where God said ´I am/we are Father, Son and Spirit, one God.´ or the like. That would be convincing to me.☺
@@fjz8307 He doesn't need to convince you. The Bible is clear about God's nature. The Father called Jesus God and attributed creation to him. What was the father thinking??

@@BeniaminZaboj That is just about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Things not found in the bible 1 Trinity "God, 2 "Gods" human nature! When Jesus at the end he submits himself to Jehovah will this be "God" submitting himself to "God"? Did Jesus not know he was "God" when he said Jehovah was greater than him? There is no way I could twist my mind as you have. Which denomination did this to you?
@@marksimpson4215unfortunately most religions do that. :( this comment section is sad. Even if you don’t agree with Sean, doesn’t mean he’s going to hell for not believing in the trinity. What a dangerous way for these people to act.
Sean starts with ad hominem attack against Anthony. Sean is a heretic and will remain a heretic until he accepts the truth of the Triune God.
So God did tell us to pray to God in God's name? WTH?
I think he has much worse problems then not understanding Trinity.
Wow what a harmful thing to say.
The issue is not the "trinity"
The issue is Sean teaches Yeshua was created and a lesser son god and not YHWH .. the Most High Elohim
I believe YHWH is one ... Yeshua was/is YHWH but do not agree with the "trinity" of a 3 "person" God as we understand "personhood"
The ancient greek/Roman view of "persona" is a different issue
.. 1 actor that would "play" multiple "roles"
@@mscottharwell We don't understand "persons" in the same way as the ancient Greeks. It's our problem that we changed the definitions. In the way we take it today, to mean individuals with conscience that separate themselves from other things, that are perceived as different from themselves, it doesn't make sense. But even we can speak separately about our perceived self our bodies, our feelings, our minds, our intestinal flora or our internet Avatars, but at the same time, realize that all those are aspects of our being in different realms, systems of interaction.
For God, add infinity and/or eternity, and it becomes very complicated.
It's almost entertaining to see what nonsense Sean will come up with next.
Sean's "Babylon" series actually swings between hilarious and disturbing. Basically he thinks eclipses are caused by Satan driving a moon shaped UFO over the flat earth. No I am not joking.

Same here. I feel like he was just blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
Wow, all those non-answers by Sean! The way he sidestepped Rom 9:5 might take the cake. "Well yes (Christ) is to be forever praised." he says. The question was not about the part where the Christ is to be forever praised, it was about the part where he is called "God over all" (and thus forever praised)!
No, God clearly told us to pray to God in the name of God.
@@marksimpson4215 What does that have to do with anything?

Which is correct?
@@5ubjugator notice Sean didn't bring up an alternative translation. In fact, he impliedly agrees by saying "Christ is to be forever praised" instead of "Some translations have God being the one over all forever praised/blessed"
@@Norbingel yes, he clearly wasn't very well prepared in this debate.
Who is the most formidable Unitarian debater?
Lol, he just mumbled over the part where the scriptures say Christ created everything seen and and unseen.
Man, Anthony nailed this debate! It's wild to think anyone would still hold Sean's wacky position after seeing him get totally decimated. Unfortunately, if you look at the comments in Sean's channel, they're all still brainwashed and duped. But I gotta say, whether you hold the Trinitarian view or not, anybody who is legitimately honest will acknowledge that Sean lost the debate, pretty badly I might add. God bless Anthony, and Glory to the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, the One true God. Amen
I was not impressed with Seans opening statement at all, what i heard was the usual unitarian arguments which is also often hear from Muslims. I am very much convinced that Muslims have taken their arguments from unitarians. However, make no mistake that Muslims are also unitarians as well. Sean in his opening statement talked more about philosophy and Constantine and politics as Anthony rightly pointed out.
In the cross examination right off the bat Sean dodged the very first question that Anthony asked of him, and he turns around and asked Anthony to provide an answer to his very first question. That is not how cross examination works.
Sean is not directly answering any questions that Anthony asked of him. Sean is under the impression that simply because he gives an answer that does not mean that he answered the question(s) that was asked.
Sean claimed that he is not a Unitarian, however the very doctrine he is espousing is exactly what Unitarians spout by making God out to command idolatry by worshipping a mere human being who is not God.
We pray that Mr. Griffin is somehow able to gain some knowledge of the Bible ....Amen
Poor Water Boy got dehydrated.
Sean lost miserably right from the beginning.
His arguments were far from convincing. JW have better arguments than him.
Calling something true doesn't make it true. Calling something false doesn't make it false.
Poor arguments, boring and pathetic.
his arguments ring the jw bell to me
Sean got his ass handed to him. He went out of his way to mention Irenaeus to the good Rev.
Easy win for Anthony
The speaker made a big error near 1:09:30 where he stated "Jesus never referred to Himself as being equal to that God or has the authority of that God. He was sent from that God and was given authority from His God." This statement can easily be proven incorrect, and therefore his entire argument collapses. People make the mistake of not understanding the "incarnation" - the physical manifestation of YHVH (the Son) through the virgin Mary is 'the Word became flesh and dwelt among us'. Jesus alone was without sin - this means that He lived a perfect, spotless, blameless life in accordance with the Torah. Jesus was the perfect Lamb of God because He was "without sin" (spotless, blameless) and this could only be achieved by a Divine Messiah - YHVH come in the flesh as "the Son of God", born of a virgin, in Bethlehem of Judah. It had to be God Himself Who fulfilled the Messianic prophecies. This is why He was rejected by the High Priest, for 'blasphemy' - claiming to be "equal with God". [Matt 26:65] Jesus openly claims to be God in Rev 21:5-8] Amen. They shall look upon Me (YHVH - Aleph-Tav) Whom they have pierced.
But He did in the "Jesus Prayer" in John. And the fact that The Father sends the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name.
@@genericname7020 Once again, the entire Bible (all related bible verses) have to be examined at the same time - we cannot take 1 verse out of the entire context of the Bible. many people do this and they find themselves contradicting Scripture. This is exactly the reason why so many christians believe in a 'Pre-trib Rapture'. They do not understand the entire scope of the Bible, and therefore when they read a single verse here, and a single verse there, they twist it, and misinterpret it - contradicting the rest of the scriptures. This is a common problem and why so many people have a very weak understanding of the Bible. We need to take hold of the foundations of our faith and build upon them. Do not get tossed and turned by every wind of doctrine. Simple rule: never form a conclusion that contradicts any other Scriptures . too many people draw false conclusions based on a single bible verse.
@@gospeltrax2513 Yes I agree. We have to read the Bible thematically. Understanding its motifs.
@@genericname7020 Another example: When Jesus said, "Why do you call me Good Teacher (Good Rabbi)? Only God is Good!" was Jesus denying that He was God or was He reinforcing it? Many people misinterpret the verses to mean that Jesus was denying His deity. But, if you understand His response properly, Jesus was pointing out that He was being addressed as 'God' and He did not deny it - He only pointed it out to that certain ruler who was asking the question. We know from many Bible verses that Jesus is God come in the flesh (Immanuel - Isa 7:14, Eternal - Micah 5:2, the Word became flesh - John 1:14)
I really want to see Anthony Rogers vs. David Bernard on Trinity/Oneness Debate.
I’ve heard Dr. Bernard say that he doesn’t really debate anymore.

Indeed!
Anthony Roger’s’ debates are the best.
Anthony is a treasure. This is so good and I needed it. What a strong case we have for the deity of Christ and the Spirit
Anthony you are my favourite superhero!
The insulting attitude and tone that the anti trinitarian debater takes from the very beginning is very off putting. It kind of begs the question, "if you have the truth, why do you need insults? Why not just lay out your case if it is convincing in of itself?"
Sean believes there's an infinite line of bulls and goats being sacrificed in heaven by Jesus the High Priest? That doesn't sound very heavenly to me. And more importantly it's not scriptural.
Hebrews 7:27 ESV
[27] He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself.
After the opening statements it was decently over.
Nice job brother Anthony
The insecure aggressive way that Sean behaves during the first cross-examination looks pretty bad...
Sean reminds me of Jehovah witness with his belief saying holy spirit is a force and calling him a "it" and saying Jesus is just a messenger of God.
This was a walk in the park for Anthony. I had no idea what Sean was talking about.
Sean did not know what he was talking about either. ;)
@@Ousias1 🤣 why cant he just go and flow with the scripture
This Sean guy claims that Zechariah 12 is just Jesus Christ talking and not God. I suppose he's saying that the Lord Here is not God, it's just the Lord Jesus. And he's right that this is the Word of God who is Jesus Christ in flesh speaking. But let's go a little bit further back from where he pointed out that this was about Christ.

.
So the Lord speaking here is the one that created everything. That's God. Just as John 1 says.
.
This guy really has to lie hard to say that Trinity was just added in or that Jesus isn't God. I mean the book clearly says it. It can't be denied.
.
His own body must be ashamed to be near him.
So let me get this right, the trinitarian used Bible verses and the Pagan antitrinitarian mocked and used very little scriputer!
this is why people like sean deserve no respect.. it’s despicable
Most telling / saddest moment was when Anthony was literally quoting directly from Scripture that refutes Sean's denial and Sean just dismissed it all as philosophy and talking over it like he's stoning Stephen. He's literally preventing himself from recognizing God himself in His Word telling him he's wrong. How else can God make it clear to Sean? Does he have to wait until Judgment Day to have Christ tell him to his face? By then it's too late...
Brother Anthony W nailed it ,
Sean is cooked.
1:35:50 LOL Sean !

I lost respect for Sean's argument as soon as he says he didnt know greek/hebrew yet wants to debate what words for God are used in His word. Great job & may the triune God bless you Anthony, Sean seems to want to lean on "early writings/creeds" more than God's word for his argument as shown in his beginning presentation.
Anthony: When the Bible says that the Holy Spirit has a mind, how does this not prove that the distinct personhood of the Spirit and even his omniscience?
Sean: Because the Spirit is not a third person?
Me: That’s doesn’t answer the question! 😆🤦
Watching from India, God bless Antony Rogers
Anthony violated this guy lol
Sean never had a chance, I hope he reads through the Bible again.
For real. He needs to read it for the first time. The only kinds of people that make these horrible arguments are people that have never read the Bible. They just heard someone say something that took some verses out of context, and they repeat it.
Very professional, well studied and very well articulated, gems of knowledge, may the LORD Bless you.
Zechariah 12:10 ... The God of the Old Testament says ... and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced.
I pretty much turned Sean off when he began telling Anthony to "shut up."
2:05:27 Is Sean saying that Jesus died for our sins, or is he just saying that it's using that language but doesn't really mean it?
Because in other chats when Sean was speaking, when I asked who died for our sins, Sean's supporters said "nobody".
Sean teaches that Jesus died in order to be able to offer sacrifices in heaven. Jesus’ own death, according to Sean, does not propitiate, redeem, reconcile, etc., it simply makes it possible for him to officiate in heaven and continually offer up animals in heaven. By contrast, of course, Scripture teaches that Jesus offered up one sacrifice, and He did it once for all. And now, having completed that work, He sat down. His atoning work is finished and he intercedes for us on the basis of His completed work.
@@Ousias1 So Jesus merely had the most excruciatingly painful job interview in history.
@@Ousias1
So Sean just throws out all the prophecies that say Jesus will die for sin. And the one about a better covenant. And the entire NT. What's left of the Bible after Sean takes out everything that he doesn't like?
@@johnmark6628 Well Sean did refer to "bad verses" in his opening statement. Might have been a bit of a slip there revealing more than he intended since he pretends he's representing the Bible. Some Unitarians do try to suggest at least one verse in Matthew isn't original (with zero evidence).
I wish the structure of these debates was set up so that the two debaters discuss one point at a time and go back-and-forth about it. The huge dumps of information followed by huge dumps of information don't seem to reflect how a normal discussion or argument goes.

From the debate, I honestly didn't understand what Sean actually believes, though I tried hard. I still don't understand...
he's in proud rebellion and has come up with his own theology purely to gain a following for himself. He is blind and can't see this, it's very clear
Sean uses a Bible which was passed down by a trinitarian church, why does he believe the church would have transmitted it faithfully??
37:00, NT passages talking about Jesus are not the "Elohim" ones which talk about Jesus' eternity but the ones which ascribe the name Yahweh to Jesus.
1:05:38 Grifter: Anthony never explained who God is!!!
Also Anthony's entire opening statement - comparing the divine titles of God in the old testament to what Jesus is called in the new testament. Typologically and directly. That's literally on the topic of who God is.
The issue with Unitarians is they always claim that the trinity concept is an add on or later concept .
2 well respected Jewish scholars/ professors in their fields. Benjamin Sommers and Daniel Bayarin. Both agree the Torah would be more in-line with the Trinity concept due to the multiplicity form given to God . Benjamin’s goal was to debunk the trinity but was baffled to find his own sources was in-line with it. Daniel goes on further to say the concept of the trinity was well existing before the 1st century. I’m not even going to mention the church fathers writings of the 1st century who stated Jesus was God.
So if we have non Christian Scholars agreeing that the Trinity concept is not a Christian theology but was always a Jewish concept then we are only led to believe that when Paul says in . 2 Corinthians 11:4 - if someone preaches another Jesus other then the one we preached in verse 3 he states what would happened if you believe in a different Christ
“But I am afraid that your minds will be led away from your true and pure following of Christ. This could happen just as Eve was tricked by that snake with his clever lies.”
2 Corinthians 11:3 ERV
We can assume and I say can I’m not dogmatic about that Paul could have been talking about those who were preaching that Jesus is just a man like the Muslims do and/or denying the divinity of Christ .
Now I understand the seriousness of this debate.
@kingdomincontext is truly the most immature, pompous, cry baby, non-debater that I’ve ever seen
Sean doesn’t even understand what the gospel is, what Christ did on the cross, and why that had to be the God man. He thinks Jesus is merely a priest who performs animal sacrifices. He’s a pagan.
1:18:40, When one honors the Son, one honors the Father: John 5, Philippians 2.
2:15:30 anyone who uses the word "irregardless" instantly loses a debate lol
Sean is like a petulant child
Since the Bible says God purchased the church with his own blood, how can unitarians explain this away with their understanding of Jesus?
Malachi 3
1“Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,” says the Lord of hosts.
(Sorry for the VERY long "comment". But I believe it NEEDS to be said)
Kind Sir...I believe a Bible is just a "tool" from God. And our true God Almighty is Jesus, forever! Who should be our teacher. As He did, when He was on this Earth. And then use a Bible, as a tool. Now, VERY few Christians; do not know about that! And I didn't neither; until I reached 75 yrs; of my 92 yrs old now!
And when I got to my 75 yr; I got on my knees (for the first time), and prayed sincerely. And I asked Jesus; to give me "Wisdom, Understanding and Truths"! (Because Jesus is the ONLY "inerrant and Infallible Being"!)
So, for the last 16 yrs; I do not open my Bible; until I pray to Jesus. And this happens many times a day. Thus, Jesus is teaching me; with a tool; which is my bible. How my life is joyful it is. Try it! If your Born Again; it will work if you're sincere!
Could I be Wrong? ABSOLUTELY YES! But ALL others Could be Wrong Too! So I end me case...
...in any case Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

Sean’s whole thing seems to be to appeal to the conspiracy theorist crowd, and I can say that because I’m a part of that crowd lol. Seems to primarily come from a mistrust of authority and history, which is why I believe he mostly attacked the creeds.
The inherent distrust of what you’ve been told is like a spark on the pages of scripture and constantly claiming “this is just unbiblical philosophy started in Nicea” serves to fan the flames.
the true conspiracy is that God himself came in the flesh. That's the final conspiracy. A true truth-seeker, a "conspiracy theorist", who loves truth will inevitably come to the ultimate truth which is this. Sean is a heretic and condemned false teacher
Anthony is so elegant, eloquent, composed and fundamentally biblical.
Sean shows to be nasty, whiny, attaking ad hominem, not rooted in the text, not understanding the Divine Council, small minded about the godhead. He is so lost, but living in spite.
We understand the our language is not enough and to limited to really describe the nature of Trinity. The history of the Church is proof of it. But we now have extra biblical language that can help, exactly how the NT used greek vocabulary and concepts, including platonic vocabulary, to evolve their theological discussion toward better comprehension.
I do feel sorry for Sean. He is completely out of his depth.
Someone send Griffin Benjamin Sommers' book, plz.
In this debate for the specific subject of Trinity Doctrine, it seems like Anthony wasn't clear as to what the Trinity doctrine means or teaches. He used verses that proved the non existing of Trinity, for example Heb 1.1-9, Rev 5.12-23, etc...(there are two beings that are to be exalted - the Father and the Son, not three). Other than that, many of the rebuttle questions are not even relevant to the subject. Sean, on the other hand had done more studies in depth about this subject and has clarity on this topic - the Spirit of God is no other than the very life and presence of God Himself. Matt 3.16-17, the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Jesus and lead him to the wilderness after the baptism - after the 40 days temptation, thereafter, Jesus said in John 14:10 (The Father is in me who does the work - The Spirit of God is NOT another separate being other than the Father). The spirit of someone is no other than himself as Paul illustrated in 1 Cor 2.11.
Both the Father and Son shared the same Spirit for He gave all things to his Son - including the authority and even his spirit or life (Matt 28.18, John 3.34-35, 5.26). The Father himself is a the only self-existing God and is the God of Jesus, his only begotten Son who was proceeded forth and came forth from the Father - Jesus is not another self-existing God as well as the Holy Spirit; otherwise, we have 3 Gods and that would contradicted the Bible: The coexist, coequal or coeternal with the Father are not existed in the Bible - it's a manmade theory. Otherwise, John 3.16 is just an act or play role and that's exactly why Satan wants to destroy this very core salvation issue; thus, Trinity is created in 325AD in the Councel of Nicea, 4 years after Emperror Constintine changed the 7th day Sabbath into the 1st day worship (Sunday). Therefore, protestants today followed this doctrine as the daughter of her mother in Rev 17.5-6 . (John 8.42,16,27-28)
God the Father, the Ancient of day, has a body - a personal being as referenced in Dan 7:9-13. You will find that in the heavenly sanctuary as revealed in the book of Revelation, there remain only the Father and the Son - the Holy Spirit as a third being per the Trinity Doctrine is silence. Why? Because The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and of Christ - it's their very life, power, presence that dwell in the believers. Thus, John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Heb 1.1-9, Jesus was before incarnation was begotten by the Father and received all inheritance from the Father, even being called God, even so He has a God which is His Father as also referenced in John 20.17. However, the Father has no other God. Who is the God of the Bible then? It's the Father. Jesus is the begotten Son of God, the Father. (John 3.16)
Note: Although this subject is a controversial topic, it's crucial that both remain polite and respect each other...it's for the listeners to learn and make decision for themselves.
The problem I saw with every debate about the trinity is that it is confronted to a false doctrine also. Meaning lies are fighting each other and the people listening are expecting to discover the Truth, what will not happen at all, because the Truth does not come from lies.
So yes, both trinitarism and unitarism are lies.
Jesus is the Truth. But who is interested in what Jesus says and is.
Everyone is defending what one loves to believe, throwing Jesus in the trash.
Why ?
Because at the end of the day, the ultimate issue is that nobody (trinitarians, unitarians) knows Jesus !
So the man Jesus is not God, since a man, according to Anthony, can not be deity.
Has brotha Anthony ever done a debate with anyone from the provisionist camp? Be nice to see 😜🤙🏾🙏🏾
Big win for Anthony
Sean doesn't know how cross exam works. Anthony has every right to prod and interrupt
Mr. Roger's, let's talk or discuss whether or not the Trinity is non biblical or biblical.
Who are you? Since he can’t talk to everyone and gets challenged all the time, you should provide some reasons why he should entertain a debate with you. What church do you represent? What is your view?
@@MrCharlesMartel It's a simple question.Would you like to have a debate or a discussion?Whether or not the Trinity is biblical.
non biblical My belief is holiness.
One God
@@Mrham1972 Now you want to debate me as well? lol Well, that would definitely make more sense since you are not likely ready for a debate with Rogers.
Wow round 2?
Sean immediately begins with personal attacks calling Anthony a buffoon. He lost the debate at that very comment. Ill equipped rebuttals usually end up attacking ad hominem; which Sean starts off with...Anthony wins...Flawless Victory
SLAM DUNK. ANTHONY🙏🙏
No more death in heaven, yet Jesus is sacrificing animals there? Uh 🤦♀️
No verse tells us the Son is uncreated, but only that He existed with the Father before Genesis. You know, the book of the Bible that begins with everything being created. Interesting tactic - to deny the truth by affirming it.
Edit 1 - "It's mind-blowing to me" is not a compelling argument.
Edit 2 - What an abject failure to rebut Anthony about the names and titles of God being applied to Jesus. Sean not only did not refute this, he anti-refuted it. Again, it's a bizarre debate tactic to deny the truth by affirming it.
Edit 3 - "It's baffling to me" is not any more compelling of an argument than "it's mind-blowing to me."
Edit 4 - The Holy Spirit is called both the Spirit of God (the father) and the Spirit of Christ interchangeably. In more than one place. By both Paul and Peter.
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD"
The term "LORD" is not in the Hebrew text. The actual word that is in the Hebrew text is YHWH (Yahweh) which is the name of one true God.
This is why the confusing happens with trinitarian thinking, just because someone is call Lord it mean they are God. Term "lord" just means master. Sarah Abraham's wife called him "lord"
Psalms 110:1
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
What we have today is a biased translation of the bible which creates confusion. The proper translation of this verse should read like this.
Yahweh said unto my lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Anthony just isn't the one to do this with lol
