Your videos are sooo helpful, I’m going to be a freshman come this fall and your vids have made me more confident and less stressed about the whole process. It’s also made my life a whole lot easier. Maybe one day you could do a q and a vid.

Aw, thank you :)) I would definitely recommend UC Davis. The energy here is so wonderful and the people are really sweet. It is always a bit of a struggle to adjust to something as big and new as university, but my transition so far has been wonderful and I am very aware of resources available to me if I need any help along the way!
Used to live in Live Oak and I miss Tercero so much!

I'm attending UC DAVIS in the Fall as a freshmen for Biological sciences, and I'm wondering which classes are the most fun or interesting to take? Thank you for your videos! I love them.
Aw, thank you! I personally have really been loving my environmental courses, just because those kinds of topics really interest me and I've been loving my sustainable design class (LDA 003)! It actually inspired me to considering minoring in "Sustainability in the Built Environment". I also liked intro to psychology because my professor (San Souci) was super sweet.

You don’t have sleep on the bunk beds, the triples come with a stand alone bed as well. And the showers do have doors, you just can’t see it very well in the shot.
Hey tina did you find your roomies before you enter the college?? If so, how did you do that? Do you think I should find my roommates instead of just waiting to be matched with random people? You look so happy with your roomies 💓
I found one of my roommates using an app called RoomSync on Facebook! I was able to make a profile and get matched up with other students that have similar preferences as me :) But I originally wanted a double with my roommate and we actually didn't except a triple with our third roommate. But as you can tell, it's turned out amazing! So don't be afraid to room with random people because it could turn into a great thing!

hi!! thanks for watching my videos! in terms of studying, i personally SWEAR by flashcards and quizlet to help me retain important information. my roommates really like to re-write their notes from class, they say it helps with memorization too.
How are you able to see the board in the lecture halls from the back?? Been so worried about that cuz I’m low key blind 😬
Okay, SAME, i literally have the worst eyesight ever, so I feel you 100%. If the professor writes with chalk, it can be hard to see, so I would suggest bringing your laptop to class if that professor posts lecture slides or just sitting in the front. If you sit in the front, you'll be fine and also you'll probably find a seat because more people tend to sit in the back.

Hey again! I'm not sure if you've mentioned this before, but do you live in a learning community? I'm filling out my housing application and I thought you'd rank living in either Tercero, Segundo, or Cuarto but I guess it's by LLCs? How did you choose your LLC if you have one, or end up living in Tercero?
So I've been in correspondence with another incoming freshman and just learned that UC Davis isn't including residence hall preferences on the housing portal this year. I'm sorry that I might have given the impression that they do in this video, but that was only because my housing portal did have that preference last year and I was just going off of what I know. In terms of LLC, I am not in one.

@@TiaSettanni i was deciding whether or not i should go to Davis for an npb major or if i should go to ucsd or ucla for neuroscience. Im from napa, so the San Diego area seems like a strange, but exciting place, and i have always wanted to transfer to ucd. I cant decide. I love watching your videos.
@@josephinebryant8598 I obviously have a bias for Davis, but I don't really know anything about the NPB major here or the others majors at the other schools. You would have to do your own research on that.
