I find it interesting that engines have never really understood the King's Indian. I guess now the top engines can calculate all the only moves that prove an advantage for white, but practically speaking, KID is one of the most devastating tools in the black arsenal.
Good point! 👍
Computers probably cannot see far enough, gotta wait for practical quantum processors.
@@Radix.Strategy I think it's the difference between positional thinking and concrete calculation. The top engines are actually pretty good right now at calculating concrete lines deep enough that black really has trouble equalizing in the KID. But who knows, evaluations could change as computing power improves.
@@Radix.Strategy I think the problem is that they see too far. Like calculate 20-25 moves ahead, while humans can’t quite do that. Which is why kid is effective
@@Blinkers2007GameDevIt's quite the opposite because if you let the computer think for a while, it will realize black is actually doing well
Explaining why some pieces are not taken is the best things i find in a chess teacher.
Thanks 🙏
0:46 "suckerfices..." yeah right, IM Mio! The best way to put it!
I remember watching this live online. Stunning game indeed!
Amazing! 💪
So much respect to Nakamura. Who else has the confidence to sacrifice everything and go all in on mating attacks with such style!
Agreed! 👍
Beautiful game. Thank you so much for the instruction. It is so useful to have the key moves and pieces explained. I have had the position many times before Nakamura played Rf2 and did not know what to do. Maybe you can make a kings Indian chessable course.
Gotta memorize this
🤣
Wow amazing game, and great commentary as well! Thanks Mio
Definitely a great King's Indian Defense game. BTW, Naka analyzes this game in his Chessable course.
👍
This one is even better than his game with Gelfand
I think so too 👍
Thanks for the game! Amazing to add to my database!
I was wondering if you could make a step by step opening any time soon about the English! It would be absolutely amazing.
Take care!
I will after I come back from Serbian premiere league! Approx in 2 weeks from now
Alright! Thank you so much! Have fun
More Chess power and continuing
success to Nakamura and So.
wow, what an analyse.... Great Job, Mio!!!!
Thanks! 👍
Very instructive and beautiful at the same time
Thrilling game!
👍
What an amazing game 😱👏👏👏 I agree: perhaps the best King's Indian game ever! Mio, thank you very much for this GREAT lecture, my best regards!♟️🙏🇧🇷
Butcher, you should do a book of games with the Mar del Plata
That sounds like a plan!
Excellent lecture! Thank you
Always 👍
It seems he plays amazing defensive systems altogether. We’ve all seen him play the “hippopotamus” to break high level chess bots. Not to mention the bong cloud, proving viable even at the IM level
Really helpful - thank you!!
Thank you 👍
very entertaining game, shows Nakamuras vision, nice analysis
Amazing attack and scrifices!
Go Mio
Thanks Tim a lot! See you on Chessbrah 👍
The most romantic opening.
Absolutely romantic

Must see game indeed. Or maybe not because it makes us look like such mediocre amateurs. :p
Good point 😂
Radi pacere kume😀
Thanks for explaining the rationale behind WHITE's moves. I'm a KID convert!
Hey! You look and sound exactly as Volodimir Zelensky :)
