Something spiritual just happened. I laughed. I worried. I critiqued. I laughed again. I even compared kitchen utensils. I immersed myself in watching Michael cook. I listened to the sounds of his culinary artistry, feeling like a part of his live video. In that moment, we shared the space with my late mom, who passed away from Covid last September. (I cried again.) But as the tears dropped I saw my grandpa cooking fish and sharing stories with Michael. Laughter returned. Somehow, after all of these months of grief, losing mom and grandpa came together. Almost as if grandpa and mom were watching with me. Thank you Michael.

I always check first if it is cold pressed and I like the unrefined and also I like the newer harvested olives with a deep green color, of course it's good to see the organic label. Lately been getting oil from CA farms.

Michael, I just realized that you use to have a TV show about 10 years ago that my wife and I watched religiously. That show, though good, was nothing compared to this simple, heartfelt cooking and literature show.. Who would have thought, thirty years ago, that I would so enjoy a 30 minute show, consisting only of a wise elder gentleman, cooking, philosophizing, and read to me some good literature? How times have changed but not all for the worse. God bless you.
