Hey I'm going crazy I just got one 98 Intruder 1500 wow I'm excited never road one that big, but I'm doing what you done all stuff but I'm going to do the work my brother got it for me what a surprise I'want to talk with someone that knows about the bike before I get ready to ride,
Man that is one nice bike. Exactly as I would have it even down to the stereo on the bars lol. I ride a 1200 Bandit and I love my bike but I can see myself adding a 1500 or 1800 intruder soon enough although I'm not really a fan of the bulky headlight cowl on the 1800s like the m109r. The style you have on your bike is the one I like. Safe riding.
I sold that bike years ago, it ended up being a basket case..little did I know the electrical system is junk on those models..it actually caught fire..ive a had a few others since, now I'm on a Kawasaki VN2000, an 07 model..its quite the cruiser..I need to clean it up and do a video on it.
After further ownership, I realized these bikes are a nightmare...your gonna have fun with that decompression system...keep your cellphone handy when you ride...cause its gonna leave you walking, when it won't start...trust me. It ain't the battery...😅

I bypassed my clutch this cut the wires and twist them together but mine is Fixer-Upper 2 I'm doing all the work myself but it's a good running bike anyway you could give me a contact for those types that's exactly what I'm wanting those Vance & Hines are bad ass!
Vincent Carrier I actually don't know.. recently I have done quite a bit of work to the bike..I need to do another video of it..I replaced the lights with a different ones I found on eBay that are all steel construction Which is difficult to find. Surfing the web is prob your best answer and I will do another video of the bike to explain some recent upgrades.

Brother i really don't understand the gallon and miles calculation. We use KM and Litres in our country. Can you tell me what are those results equal to KM and Litre calculations? :)

Lol :D I guess so. I'm gonna trade my 98 Shadow 600 with a 98 LC1500 this week. I'm a student so the only thing i'm afraid of is the fuel comsumption. :D Are those bikes reliable? I'm thinking about using it for a long time like 4 or 5 years. It has 40.000 KM's on it i guess it is equal to 25.000 miles. Do you think should i take it?
TheWitac well it has it's pros and cons..pros are it rides like a Cadillac and handles superbly..very good machine for long hauls and 2 up riding..fair amount of power and decent fuel economy..not the best but it's a heavy bike. Cheap to maintain..simple fuel delivery system and two spark plugs. The earlier models are the best ones..98-2001.Wide tires make for a cushy responsive ride. The cons..not as fuel efficient as your shadow of course..heavy weight ..not a great nimble commuter bike for slow traffic conditions and frequent stops..the carbs can be an issue as there is only one person on Earth...and that's not an exaggeration!!.. that will work on them and garauntee them.. GMan industries..I sent mine off to him and he's awesome...stock battery's will not do..you will need an oddesy battery..cause the engine is such high compression.. GMan also offers one..other than that they are dependable bikes and run great..engines are bullet proof and that's not any kilometers or miles on that one if it's a 98 or 99.
Well after owning it a while...I found out the hard way about all the engineering defects and shitty problems those bikes had...they really are awful bikes...if you could rewire it, do away with the decompression system, and make a better charging system the engine is fantastic...and it rides like dream...but due to the issues above its an awful design.

Mine gets 45 miles to a US gallon...Great mileage for going 70 miles per hour down the highway.

Trading a 03 1100 v star classic for a 2000 suzuki 1500 intruder tomorrow.. Hope iam making the right decision

How much liters it consume for 100km?
TheWitac since I had the carbs went through..it usually gets about 140 miles to a tank which is about 4 gallons..which is around 35mpg

Not that I agree with you, still got my 2000 with over 150,000 on it.
