This classical music video does not violate any copyrights as the author of this music is Saint Thyagaja, who wrote this song anywhere between 1800 AD and 1840 AD, the tune the song is set to 'tOdi' which is one of the oldest raga scale of Indian classical music which dates back much before 1000 AD ....

About this vainika's play by adiyen, a novice in carnatic music:
the gamakas, the contours of tOdi created with single plucking of the string and the controlled pressure applied on the frets .... aha .... sunAdam all the way ...... while NOT moving the fingers over the frets but applying variable pressure over the strings on the single fret and the nAdam it creates .... a pleasure to listen to such sort of pristine classical music ....

Do not miss the AlApanA section between 8th minute and 12th minute where in the gamakas are produced when there is no change in the finger movement but the pressure applied over strings brings out the contours of tOdi rAgA .......
