The only time my husband and I get to spend together is when we have to go shopping! We have been thinking of going to couples therapy, thinking it may be a good idea!
I’m 55 been married for 29 years and I have no children. I understand that work and life gets in the way of doing things with your husband. Your relationship is a priority and I’m glad that you guys are working on it I’m going to counseling to help with any issues you may have. Hi Dominique, I’m 43 married with 2 girls. My husband is a barber and I stay at home with medical issues. My hubby has Sun/mon off, so we go to church Sun and Mon we have a date day while the girls are in school. Thank you for your videos. It gives me inspiration to keep up my look for my husband. All though he says I don’t need it and he loves me no matter what. What’s most important is we are best friends. We laugh, joke and have serious convos like what to do if one another dies etc. It took me a few years to get over my fear of telling him things like how much I’ve spent etc in case he got upset. I’ve learned his reaction is different than you think so just communicate as much as possible. We have weekly budget meetings and respect our differences such as he love video games and riding his motorcycle, and I love makeup and volunteering. We both have taught each other so much. He has taught me to protect myself more because I’m “too nice” and he has said I’ve taught him to have more faith and grace for others. We have been together for 10 years and it still feels new. We still make each other blush like teenagers and can’t wait to grow old together. One thing we do as a family is, the girls and I wait at the door when he gets home and have a family hug thanking him for working hard for us. He says that’s the highlight of his day! Little things like that just take a few mins but worth a lifetime of love built up.
My husband is in the military, so I rarely get to see him 😔 at least you get to see your husband everyday though so you're lucky 💗

I have a young daughter, and between her and work, by the end of the day we just want to veg in front of the TV, Setting some time aside for the two of you though is key to keeping that flame lit and strengthening the bond between you. Got my sweater weather yesterday and used it today for date night with my husband. This is too funny. Loved it. Pigmented and super easy to blend. 🥰 40 with two grown boys. Now that they're grown there's more time for us. Communication and being realistic about expectations. No ones perfect including yourself. Really listening is key to any relationship is what I've learned. Don't force preconceived notions on others is also what I've learned.
I'm 40 in April, yup the big 4..O.. I've been with my husband since we were 14, we have 2 sons, oldest will be 23yrs old in Feb my youngest just turned 18 and I'm inspired to put on some makeup this Friday and go on a date with my sweet hubby! It honestly makes me so happy to hear you guys going on a date and finding time together! And you're not alone! My husband and I are both 23 with a 1 year old and 3 years old, and we really struggle on finding time together so we're working on storing designated date nights where we spend time with just us. No time together as a couple really takes its toll.

I am 34 with 2 children (2 and 4 yo), married for 10 years with my high school sweetheart. We NEVER have time for each other anymore! We have to work on keeping in touch with each other and we try to have date nights as often as we can.

25 years old, with a 6 month old son and I am a student trying to get into nursing school, husband always working we barely have time for each other anymore but I find it nice at the end of the day once we put our son to sleep, that we just sit on the couch and be next to each other even if I'm working on school work, and he's doing something else just being next to each other is really nice

We've made it a habit to have a date night each month. We switch months by picking the activity & where to eat. We always do something new, that we've never done & also pick a new place to eat. Juggle and snuggle😍!!! It’s hard to juggle real life. A mother’s work is never done. It’s nice to hv a husband who is all about 50/50. I do dinner he does dishes. Date nights are very a must!! Even if it’s to Starbucks and just chatting and laughing. Keeping the laughter is key for my marriage. Snuggling is an added bonus 🥰 especially after a long hectic day.
You are not the only one experiencing no time with your husband. I'm 26, we have one kiddo with special needs and between work and therapy and appointments we lose track of time for each other all the time. Love your videos! I don’t even do glamorous looks but I love watching you create them. I’m 30, married with a 2 month old baby girl. My husband is a tremendous help but it is a struggle just to sit and have time for ourselves. With our work schedules and taking care of her we barely have time to really have a conversation and or sit down and have a meal together. It is a working progress but you are not alone we just need to work a little harder to get that communication back.Communication is key in a marriage/relationship and if your both willing to work on it then you are already one step closer 😊

So I am 30 years old I have a 4 year old daughter with my fiancee and giiirl it is soo hard to make things work. I work 5 days a week and all free time I try to just spend with my daughter. My fiancee and I got pregnant very early in our relationship and we had our daughter when I was 24 weeks pregnant and we never have time for ourselves. It's been soo long since we've had a date night. But lots of communication and understanding has gotten us through it. Making the best of every moment.

So when we get those days that there is no soccer, baseball, cheerleading, meeting or anything going on we get to relax and do family times and we all disconnect and enjoy each other’s company.
