This painting today gave me a little bit of trouble. I've gotten so used to painting on larger canvases that I didn't take into account how a small canvas was going to work with such a big idea. Had to chuckle at “smaller canvases” - being of small stature and almost 80 years old, 16 x 20 is one of my bigger ones but have some 20 x 24 that I will be trying. I thought the first pour was beautiful but the second one is even better! Beautiful colors and composition!
