Yeah man I sold my tomei after 6 months. I love the sound the down shifts under the tunnel. But it too loud for daily and it attracts hella alot of attention.

Cruising around town is quiet, but tunnels, thats one of the reasons i my got my tomei, i let it scream whenever i have the chance to 😂. If you bought a tomei, you know damn well its gonna be loud, should’ve not gotten one if you dont like the attention.

I use the stage 1 silencer for daily use (not sure what else to Call it lol) It’s perfect imo . When going to a meet I take it out haha

1:00 - Single silencer
1:27 - Dual
Get Motordyne. It has a low growl at lower RPMs and only gets loud if you floor it.
Makes a big Differenz from silencer 1

tomei exhaust and y pipe and a test pipes and its extremely loud.. so i decided to add the silencer till i get my motordyne art pipes and replace my test pipes..
Yeh it was way too loud for me .. even with the silencer lol

Honestly ... if any hp changes occurred, it was too nominal to tell you whether it gained or lost anything . Since it sounded fast it felt fast lol
Motordyne has a really nice tone but it’s not nearly as throaty as the single tomei. They both are nice in their own ways

@@TheKhanLife I'm not completely sure yet. I was hoping 8-10k. I have a 2005 de roadster 70k miles. It has a tomei exhaust, kbd from bumper, blue top, upgraded sound system, and some after market rims. It being a roadster makes it worse. Let me know what you think I could get for it! Thanks :)

Do u have troubles taking the silencer off? I am buying a 350Z with a tomei on it but I feel like I will need this.
Caleb Susara not at all, very easy to do. Silencer comes with three holes/bolts but the exhaust only has one predrilled . I only have one bolt on and you can notice it sits somewhat loose so it’s recommended to have all three in. But I didn’t want to drill into my exhaust tip

if you put both silencers on, no. i kept the single silencer on mine with one bolt and it held up perfectly
@@Cayysusa drill the extra hole . I only used 1 hole also and it bent the tip a little . Better off drilling the extra hole . No need for all 3, 2 is all you need
Only gonna use it for cold starts early in the morning so I don’t get complaints from neighbors lol

The silencers are the reason I’m going with this exhaust so I can still drive in daily use I hope it’s enough lol

@@TheKhanLife Do you think its safe to use the silencer for roadtrips? i know tomei recomended to drill additional holes to be safe but have you done it before? is it safe for highway driving?
@@knightGunners78 I drove with mine everywhere (one bolt) and no issues.. id recommend drilling if you really need to (to be safe for long travel)
i think if u drilled some holes in the silencer it would sound perfect

How loud is the tomei when you’re just cruising
It can be quiet when cruising at the right rpms but it can be extremely loud when you want it to be... I use my exhaust sound instead of my horn now lol.

Nope , I drove around with one bolt for a couple a months . Never came off but did start to bend a little
mine fell of lol... I walk back and retrieve it.. but it was too late.. the cars squashed it and it was bent LOL
