I agree as I'veve had the same experience with the Minimalist Hyaluronic Acid 2%. I have come across dermatologists and skin specialists on CZcams saying that HA is overrated as a product since it's pretty much present in every single moisturizer as Sodium Hyaluronate and you don't necessarily need an extra HA serum.
I have been using Dot & Key’s hyaluronic acid and its amazing. It provides plumpness and hydration. Always keep it in mind that hyaluronic serums does not plump your skin PERMANENTLY . Its great for achieving a quick plump look. And Shreya is right l’oreal’s marketing us damn aggressive. One day u wake up and u see all the influencers and their stories and posts and videos filled with loreal’s hyaluronic acid which just pushes u into buying that product.

I have used Loreal Paris hyaluronic acid serum regularly as part of my night time skin care. I can very well say that this works so well!! My face became soft and my white- heads started to disappear. It sits so well under makeup too

Would lik to especially mention that coconut oil from literally any brand suits me really well. But in reality it is so hated by these EXPERTS. I have terrible acne and acne marks for the past decade all over my face but when I start cleaning my face with coconut oil it clears up like no one's business. And I have supremely oily skin. When I stop cleaning my face with coconut oil, my face again breaks out in a few days. If I had trusted hyram, James Welsh I wouldn't have ever discovered a gem like simple coconut oil. They literally hate the oil. But for me it works instantly.

I am using this currently [the sample size] and my skin does feel hydrated, plumped and bit glowy/smooth after putting it on. It gets absorbed very fast and there is no stickiness whatsoever. However, I experienced irritation and slight burning when I layered on TO Niacinamide after it. I then noticed from INCI that the HA serum has a Vit C derivative as ingredient. I am not sure whether that is the reason. Previously also I have seen layering Niacinamide after Vit C has caused irritation to my skin. So that's something sensitive skin people may consider.

I feel Loreal HA serum is not great product to use , I had bought the 30 ml it smells yuck and is has castor oil in it if you translate the package and manufactured in China , it did not give a pimples on my face but the smell and texture I didn't like the smell of oils or serum and I felts it's a cheaper version of HA rather buy minimalist or Derm Co I feel
Best hyaluronic acid serums should be a mixture of both low molecular weight and high molecular weight (this product is a mix of both) and only dry skin people can use facial oils during the day any other skin type can't because oils trap heat, you don't want heat on your skin when the sun is out. A moisturizer will be enough for all other skin types apart from extremely dry skin. Also if you spend the entire day in an air conditioned environment then an oil might be necessary, otherwise it can do more damage than good.

I have used this serum, an entire bottle of it tbh. For the first few days it made my skin look plump but after that it didn't make a difference.

I feel Loreal HA serum is not great product to use , I had bought the 30 ml it smells yuck and is has castor oil in it if you translate the package and manufactured in China , it did not give a pimples on my face but the smell and texture I didn't like the smell of oils or serum and I felts it's a cheaper version of HA rather buy minimalist or Derm Co I feel
The lower molecular weight hyaluronic acid doesn't even penetrate the epidermis, it can be pro-inflammatory. So idk if it's legit thing to try.

Best hyaluronic acid serums should be a mixture of both low molecular weight and high molecular weight (this product is a mix of both) and only dry skin people can use facial oils during the day any other skin type can't because oils trap heat, you don't want heat on your skin when the sun is out. A moisturizer will be enough for all other skin types apart from extremely dry skin. Also if you spend the entire day in an air conditioned environment then an oil might be necessary, otherwise it can do more damage than good.
