- Replacing brake rotors and pads in your 2007 E63 AMG is very easy and you shouldn't be paying anyone big money for it. This process is pretty much the same for any AMG with Brembo rotors with slight differences. W211 E55 AMG brakes are slightly different construction with differing torque values, so I decided to document how brakes should be replaced on E63 AMG.

Thanks for the video, I'll use this when I need to replace those pricey 2 piece rotors 😂
I bought mine from Rockauto for 650 for both.
Thanks For the DIY, I’ve been contemplating the upcoming pad & rotor change.
I laughed so much at the use of rocks 😂 Thanks for the video.
Hahaha 😂
Good video thank you going to be changing out my rotors soon on a s63. To get more access to the 21mm bolts its possible to just turn the wheels so you can get the breaker bar in there.
How could I not think about that 🤦♂️ That’s a great suggestion 👍 I forgot to mention in the video that the rear ones require different sockets for top and bottom bolts and are also pain in the ass to break loose if the car is not lifted high enough.
Hello! I have a 2014 E63 and was looking to your video for guidance on how to do the brake job. The biggest challenge seems to be the caliper bolts. Finally I don’t know where to place the jack stands. I’ve lifted the car for quick wheel changes before on jack pad locations but never anything else. What were your jack points and where did you jack up? Is it possible to just do the change while the car is still just on the jack? As I will not be going under the car
Hi there. The process should be fairly similar for 2014. You can jack it up on one side as you would normally do, or jack both sides up at the same time by placing the jack on the pad under the front of the car (you’ll see it). You can put the stands under the control arms. I would not do this job without the car being on the stands. You’ll put a lot of shoulder on the bolts. A tip I didn’t think about when working on mine is to turn the wheels all the way to left/right to give yourself better access to the bolts.
My brother you know the weight difference on those compared to the brembos ? I’m looking for that set right now and was wondering how you like them etc .
The rotors I installed here are Brembo rotors bro 😎
@@AccentOnCarsoh my bad I thought they were the dynamic Rotor Company ones …that’s a really good deal you got there on Brembos
I bought them from Rockauto.
@@AccentOnCars gotcha I’m about to do that soon 🙄 so I’m playing your video over and over so I’m ready lol . So I got confused on rock auto because it says the brembos are $400 but it says sold individually do they mean $400 a rotor ?
Yes, bro. Also, call them or write to them if you have any confusion. Their website is not the most intuitive :-)
long overdue for.a.video
I know :-(
Is this the same for 2010?
The same, but you should double check on the torque values.

🤣 Yox bir, gedib pul verib xususi shey alacam?
Someone torqued my wheels on too tight
Wheels or brakes? The caliper bolts take a loooot of force to unbolt, lol.
@@AccentOnCars the wheels lol
