      I am in the states, my friend. Your Jan 2 was my Jan 1. I wish I could. But I am faithful to view and am getting a lot out of the "tour" of your town. The personal inroad that service for the homes provides gives a grand perspective on the interesting land, found art, and lost patios! It is what one might call an urban archeological dig.

    Tim, those who don't know comment on the color. The higher the grass, the less sunlight reaches the base and roots of grass, hence the brown color. Once cut, the sunlight will do its work and the lawn will green up! That was a massive amount of grass for your little beast to eat! Hope after the bolt it did not loose a tooth (blade). And your friend did a great job helping out!

    Impressed you've been working on how to keep the camera cool while working in the hot sun. Interesting that even a "new" home can become overgrown. Glad you kept an eye out for something in need. Even "new", you had to refind the features. Your little mower sure does an excellent job for you. What an improvement you two made to the area. It doesn't matter if it is a fancy area or not, getting the basics back in place puts back order, dignity and is important for all. From the tall cut to finish edging and mowing, that was a really nice job.

    One of the things that sets you apart is the level of detail you give to the final cleanup. The run-overs with the Honda in this case to clean up the cuts and the clippings...just sets you apart, dude. Love watching the before and afters here.

    Hey Tim, Dover New Hampshire USA here. First of all, it's good seeing you using that backpack leafblower they are a game-changer. I just wanted to give a shoutout to let you know that out of all the transformations you have done (there have been some stellar ones) this is by far the best. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see what's next...

    Lovely work, so glad you had Nicole help instead of just adding glamour !!! Really nice looking species of grass, we don’t have it here in the U.K. but it looks easy to maintain, even though overgrown it had all prawn to a uniform length !!! Also noticed you edged with your trimmer and not the edger, is that because it was not too out of hand ??? Keep on mowing !!! Don’t quite have the ring of ‘keep on trucking’ , spotty for that !!! 👍👍👍👍🇬🇧

    Great job as usual! Loved the mower view. For a small yard, that was alot of work. Next time try mounting on the handle for a bit higher view. Can't wait for more videos. Stay safe!

    Looks awesome Tim. Now the place will hopefully be a bit more desirable to perspective renters or buyers 😊
    In regards the brown grass. Your buddy Sean has mentioned it more than a few times that if the grass is pretty tall that most likely it will look brown at the base because the only green is what’s exposed to the sun.
    In approximately 2-4 weeks it will bounce back with proper maintenance ie more frequent mowing.

      Tim do you purposely cut the grass so low dirt shows? Is that because she won't have to mow for sometime?

    • @victorpeirce4753
      @victorpeirce4753 Před rokem

      @@captainpearly3994 Tim's mowing the lawn on the highest setting the lawn mower can cut. This is what happens when the grass is long and thick. Give it a week and it will be short green grass again. 💯%

    Hi Tim what a great transformation on the yard. I guess y’all of been having a lot of rain. It is winter here in the Texas Hill country and this Sunday morning we had -6°C so I guess it’s getting warmer when you live. Thank you for sharing the video and I do hope you and your family have a very prosperous and happy new year.

    I’d love to know the story behind this property! Hopefully it isn’t a landlord being to stingy to pay someone to mow it!

      @marieleotta2501 Před 2 lety +8

      If a real estate agent is looking after the place you would think they could organise someone to do it

    • @wendesutton6953
      @wendesutton6953 Před 2 lety

      You would think so wouldn’t you? Unfortunately there’s a lot of real estates that do the absolute bare minimum, I’ve rented places where trying to get general maintenance attended to is like pulling teeth! I’d say this property wasn’t leased at the time, for whatever reason, and I think unless it’s under lease (even when it is actually) it’s the owners responsibility. If it’s not being leased the real estate possibly may not have known how bad the lawn had gotten. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    • @wendesutton6953
      @wendesutton6953 Před 2 lety

      Sorry* edit to correct - even when it’s being leased sometimes the lease agreement states the landlord will take care of it.
