- Hey beauties!! Can you believe that it has been over TWO years since the last time that I straightened my hair? That's crazy, right!?
As my birthday approached, I decided that I wanted to straighten my curly hair - check the length, maybe trim it, bask in all of it's glory.. You know.. Normal things haha.

I'm just so meticulous about making sure that I get my roots really well and sometimes I feel like the wider flat irons don't allow me to get as close 😩

You're right. The wider irons don't get as close to the roots. Wider is quicker, but the thinner plates create a more sleek look.

Are you trimming enough.. I was under the impression that being natural I didn't need to trim my hair..only like twice a year. Crazy I know. Trimming more often (as needed) definitely helped.
You are having problems retaining length. Your hair is growing, but you need to protect those ends, keep that hair moisturized, and build a good regimen, find the products that work for you, leave your hair alone, and just have patience!

You should cut is straight on the bottom...idk if you know what I mean lol (if you want ofcourse) it gives it a more youthful appearance cause the reason it narrows is because the hairs are different length ofcourse

I'm still trying to figure out a system that works!
Pre-pooing and finger detangling prior to getting in the shower helps to cut down on shower time a bit - but outside of that, unfortunately, the longer/thicker your hair is, the longer it will take to detangle 😕
Haven’t straightened mine in four year so I’m a little nervous lol so rewatching all the curly girls straightening their hair! Did you use the treseme heat product just before blow drying and then not before straightening aswell ?

I'm struggling with my natural hair the ends are uneven and always dry and my hair drops when its not comb it always drops when its not comb or in a one and the ends are out I hate feeling my natural hair it makes me feel sick so I decided to keep it braids because thats the only way for it to grow for me that natural hair care crap ent working on this crazy hair of mines I can't even leave my hair out

Someone help me lolllll I want my hair get this long lol😂😂😂😂 my hair was cut and was damaged when dye and dropped and when I leave my hair out it drops the ends and always feels dry and disgusting even when I moisturize it so I would always try to keep it wrapped when its not comb or always comb in plaits .....I have decided to keep it in braids and weave for some years and see if my original length returns.... I am.never going to leave my hair out or natural again ....braids all the way...I want tips on how to keep my hair moisture while in braids and weave....
