Such a unique place with so much going on. I use to go once a month for a doctor's appointment. I think I'm going to start going again since I live in New York State and not too far away from there. I'm not sure how much they are but I'm pretty sure they are kinda costly. I'm thinking anywhere from around $1000 - $5000. Considering you can purchase one for around $20 bucks in one of these Western countries I'd say it's quite a mark up.
@@ppiorkowski1502you have no idea what you are talking about! It is illegal in the state if New York to have a monkey as a pet. One cannot legally purchase one in that state. They are legal in Florida however but only if the person buying them lives in a state that is legal to own them. They also cost far more than $1000-$5000 . Also, why do you refer to "these" countries as "Western" countries? Countries such as where this video is filmed or countries in Asia where many of these baby monkeys originate are NOT "Western" countries. Countries such as the US are considered to be Westerm countries. Haven't you ever heard Asian countries be referred to as "the Far East"? 🙄
If you can't even figure out how to contact a breeder of monkeys then you definitely have not educated yourself enough about these monkeys yet to even think about getting one! What do you mean when you say you haven't been able to find anyone to "get" you a baby? You do realize you have to actually buy them, right? Do you even have $8,000 to $15,000 to pay for one? Because assuming you are in the US and depending on what kind you want that's what it will cost you.
What is up with this channel and putting these poor babies in boxes?? It's not a toy or merchandise that you're packing up to ship, they are living creatures!! It looks like you made the box to put 2 poor babies in there 😡.. the only good thing about this video is that they are hopefully getting shipped away from you, hopefully to a person who will love and take care of them properly

That's how pet stores ship and receive baby monkeys in Indonesia. Lots are transported by buses.
Well to them they are exactly that...merchandise to sell and be shipped and that is exactly what they are doing!
