Hey Kyron, great video and big fan! I did just want to let you know that as a watch enthusiast, JBW watches is not a good watch brand. There are a few reasons as to why this is the case:
- They’re a fashion brand first and foremost, and a “watch” brand second. Similar to brands such as Daniel Wellington and MVMT, these watches are mass-produced, made in China (presumably), and grossly marked up.
- The diamonds are of questionable quality. Although they MIGHT be real, there is some evidence online to suggest that they are either fake or machined (not hand cut).
- A tell for sketchy/questionable marketing with watch brands are those that over-inflate their prices and offer deep discounts either on their own site or through other retail channels. The watches are a fair bit cheaper on Amazon, and they are pretty discounted on their own store (presumably from the Holidays though).
- When “watch” brands are evasive/vague about their movements, they’re probably cheap/mass-produced movements. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as brands such as Seiko/Miyata outsource for a lot of micro brands, but the issue comes when brands use the movement as a selling point to grossly overprice the watch. I’m assuming the JBW watches are cheap Japanese quartz, as there’s no indication of an automatic movement.
- You can get an ACTUAL Swiss-made, high quality watch for around $500 from the likes of Hamilton or Tissot, and fine Japanese watches from Seiko.
At the end of the day, I respect the hustle and you securing these sponsors and working with these brands. People shop for different reasons, and there’s nothing inherently wrong with shopping for “fashion watches”. But as a fan, I figured I should bring this up to you so that you don’t spread misinformation, as these watches are much cheaper in quality than their retail price suggests!

If you’re okay spending $750 on an Anderson Bell coat, why not $1,000 on an Ami? Not like one is $1,000 and one is $50. Might as well spend a tad more on the Ami.
after further research the AMI coat actually goes for / floats between $2000-$4000 so $750 is a steal at that point but you're absolutely right if it was 1000 i would have simply saved and went for the ami unfortunately it's not the case tho😭
