There’s nothing Christmasy about any of these calendars they are all spring/ summer products. When I open a Christmas calendar I want golds, silvers, reds, glitter, peppermint and gingerbread scents etc

Anything with more than 1 tanning product puts me off, I'm brown LOL
It's as though they've filled it with things that they need to get rid of. Not very inspiring, nor does it feel like a treat 😕🙄😏😔

you are right .Why it is hard to put, create a winter,Xmas theme on the box packaging🤔maybe because if some want to reuse it for something else..?
I’m not impressed for the price. There are too many disappointing days/filler items. Considering the small The Body Shop calendar and the Holland & Barrett calendar are actually CHEAPER than this calendar…there are far better calendars at this price point out there.

This is so far off the mark. The 2 festive nail polishes just highlights how un-christmassy the rest of it is. If something in an advent calendar is limited edition, why would it be covered in palm tree prints?
Putting 2 fake tan items in - especially one as the last door - is a real cop out and a product that's likely to be entirely unsuitable for loads of people. I think the Sleek palette would have been better there.
This one just screams that they're trying to shift dated product with no thought. Agree that there is no excuse for plastic packaging either.
(I use a sleep mask sometimes!! They're good for if I'm struggling to get to sleep, especially in summer)

No because Boohoo actually did a really good job here. If Glossybox could do this kind of variety but with their brands… winner !

I don't know about the other products but sleek had an overhaul about a year ago - packaging has been redesigned and colour schemes are all different so that eyeshadow palette is discontinued! Everything was reduced at Boots. Are they filling it with old, cheap stock?! Xx
Ugh!! This calendar is $120 on the US site....$5 more than Look Fantastic and $30 more than Glossybox! It's got some interesting products but there's no way it's up there with the big brand calendars. It's a great day when you post for us Ms., Thank you!!

Great review. Thanks for doing it, I wanted to get it but not now, I really do not like this calendar. A lot of products just remind me of a monthly necessary shop at b&m. Nothing exciting in this calendar for me. Too many crappy cheap doors. It's hard to see it being worth 60 quid let alone 120. The price is shocking imo.
I’m not 100% sold on this one 😪 thank god you make these videos because I can imagine so many people buying this calendar and being so disappointed! I’m sorry, getting a tanning WIPE for a door? Who came up with this! Absolutely bananas!! It looked like a sample tester you get for free at the sun bed shop!
Some of the brands are too cheap for such an expensive calendar, you’d expect more luxurious brands. Brands like SO, sunkissed, dirty works and revolution I’m sure you can buy from B&M, body care etc!

The bath bomb says 8 uses on front so thsts good and also the wipe I kinda get it when you used the tan u then got a face wipe if you want it xx

I’m sad I missed out on the ASOS one as sold out.
I actually like the pink design, but not sure about the value. We did get a lot of full-size stuff, but there were filler items like the tannin mitt, tweezers and sample sized Garnier face wipe. If this would have been the same price as previous year than I think it would have been worth it. Would not pay the full 60 pound for this.

I don’t mind this Calendar I love the sleek palette, the nails inc product, dirty works bath bar, beauty blender, eyelure lashes, the revolution lip product, I love so anyway so I like that product, the handgel will ring come in handy with working at the hospital, the hair clips, the make up revolution mascara, gelly nail polish, beauty works masks nails inc nail polish, and the face mask, and the tasty peach by revolution and that’s it don’t like the tan or tanning mitt coz I’m like a ghost and don’t get me started on the packaging 😂😂 xx
I was so excited for this but when I seen the price went up and the products wasn’t as good as last year I was so annoyed :(

Oh eltoria this is he worst calender I have ever seen . Some products we could get in the pound shop ! Totally rubbish . Believe the pretty little thing one is good but can’t find it on site . BYW ur the best at un boxing these calendars such a cheerful little star u are xxx
Completely agree. I feel like you could have got a lot of it from b&m or home bargains. Definitely a disappointment. Terrible for the price.

Disappointing how so many of these advent calendar’s don’t cater for people of colour eg. fake tan/ tan mit / very light shades contor set. Would be amazing if brands would release calendars to cater to different skin tones.

I absolutely agree, it is very expensive. I am able to use my Blue light card discount, I think you get between £30-£40 off. If you do review it, I might buy it. I won't be buying the Boohoo Advent calendar, seems a little shitty compared to the ones you already reviewed and got me buying lol
This one completely forgot that people of all skin tones live in the UK. Too many tanning products useless for so many skin shades.
I don’t like tan in advents but then again I don’t actually use tan 😂 think it’s a bit cheeky it’s £20 more and worth £9 less 😅
Three separate days for tanning products is cwazy.
Boohoo never take care of their customers, think most advent calendar prices have gone up this year but this one is dramatically increased and with shite items, mostly wont suit everyone.. they didn't take anything or anyone into consideration and thought just put anything together and make some money. Hand sanitizer, that should've been free especially with what was in this calendar, & 2 tweezers WHAT! Lol

Not worth the 60 pounds. The only really Christmas advent box so far is Rituals. Those boxes qua designs far more Christmas 🥰😜

@@saralongridge4648 imo advent calenders and beauty boxes should be filled with new things to try that maybe a person hadn't considered before or perhaps qould have liked to try but it would otherwise be a big splurge. Despite the pandemic, sanitiser is still just a bottle of rubbing alcohol and it does the same as all the rest imo and I wouldn't want it in my Christmas calender
