- I'm so honored that Laurent allowed me to battle him. Even though I didn't win, I'm happy that I got to experience what it was like to battle one of the greats. Larry and Laurent are two of my biggest inspirations when it comes to musicality, so to have a chance to dance with them was awesome. P.S. I hope to battle Laurent again in the near future.

I love me some Les Twins but Fikshun ate this one. Laurent’s musicality movements were more to the beat. But Fikshun’s musicality movements were to the beat AND the words. It was like he was acting out the lyrics through his movements.
fik-shun isn't a "child" as someone stated. Show the brotha some respect. He's excellent at his craft. I can't with these fangirls.

@@ucheejiofor2145 To be 100% objective that's false. He's a bonafide legend but the reality is Fik didnt make it past preselections of Juste Debout the same year the twins were judges on the event. The twins made it to the quarterfinals the year before that, but they got lowkey smoked by Diablo and Stalameurte😂. The facts are the twins have competed and/or won international competitions consistently over the past decade. BUT fikshin could absolutely beat them, anybody can get beat on any given day.

I would like to see Fik-Shun battle Laurent to a song that neither of them know. Someone mentioned how my crew Dragon House looks choreographed in our dance videos. Of course, we shoot videos to songs that we already know in and out.
Do you guys form dragonhouse even like les twins as dancers just a thought, i been a dragon house fan for a long time and was disappointed no one represented yall on world of dance yall would have gave the les twins a run for their money, now i will say i do like the twins and larry is my #1favorite dancer right next to non-stop but why dont yall interact more both dragon house and criminals crew are the BIGGEST names in dance, idk man im just renting on im not even a dancer but i enjoy watching every single one of you just wish yall would do more together 😌

Both Fikshun & Larry are beat killers and shine best when they dance to songs that not only they know through and through but fits their style as well. Laurent flows with the music. His versatility shines in those moments the most.
Btw Fikshun was killer in these old videos. But then again they were songs he knew through and through.

However, the thing with this "battle" is that there was only 1 song, and one guy knew the song while one guy didn't.

Yea, it's a disadvantage, since it's probably hard, not to get pulled into that macho-shit Hip Hop has to offer - I mean, just look at that facial expression that Fik-Shun gave, when Laurent danced - like »is he gay, or wha!?« - it's easy to be impressed by that agreement about male-stereotypes in Hip Hop and I think Les Twins always did well in showing off their ballet-grace to destroy especially the »Machine« boys who only flexed their muscles.
But I guess Fik-Shun did well to implement some of their grace into his flexing of muscles.

Laurent's dancing style includes movements from all parts of his body and he dances mostly to calm or emotional songs for his style to suit the music. Unlike Larry, he likes to dance to rap songs and his feet movements are better than Laurent's. So, I think it would be a much better dance battle if larry were Fik-shun's opponent here. I agree with people saying Fik-shun won this battle. But if you want to see where Laurent destroyed both Larry and Fik-shun, go see there battle in WOD LA 2016. HAHA, he totally had all audiences eyes on him.
Honestly I couldn’t say who got the win (because i’m no expert or even slightly talented when it comes to dancing) but it really looks like they both are having a lot of fun, and they both are really talented and that alone just makes me smile when I watch them dance. 😁😁😁

Because Lau didn't know the songs as well as fikshun, that is exactly why I think Lau won, because it was a set up from the word jump and he still killed it, which is a testiment to his talent and his willingness to take on all comers.. fikshum found out why they call the man Lil Beast, even when he was standing in Lau's way and clowning (which if you noticed Lau ignored and kept on going), he still taught that child a lesson.
Fikshun won fair and square . Laurent was boaring .. And the fact that les twins always tap their ears when battling other dancers who don't know the beat is a contradiction in itself.. Fik shun bought Laurent back down to earth here..

Does anybody read the description at all? And Laurent's leg was already injured, so he wasn't trying as hard. Watch the February 2015 interview with fikshun and les twins. They joked about this battle.

Clearly Fik-Shun knew the song in and out. Laurent most likely heard the song for the first time just then. I wouldn't go as far as saying Fik-Shun has better musicality than Les Twins because I've seen a video were Fik-Shun's musicality was very weak, mediocre at best. By weak I mean he didn't know the song well and he was hitting the MOST OBVIOUS BEAT pattern to the whole song. Nice battle but they should've chosen a song that they both knew or didn't know. I'd also say Laurent won due to his natural musicality capabilities.

good battle, Laurent won because he showed a more well versed move selection in my opinion. You didn't do bad at all Fik-Shun, but I felt most of your moves all had the same general movements, if you watch the vid over and over you'll understand what I mean, can't find the word to describe it right now. Good job none the less! Laurent has been in the game for obviously quite a while longer so yeah... You should battle Paradox and or Junbox another 2 of my favorite uprising dancers in the hip hop scene.
