If we can lock everyone up permanently, just think of all the growth in the online economy, how great for payment processing services. Imagine, paying fees to make payments all the while forfeiting your personal data and building a digital avatar for sale so that companies can create personally targeted advertising to follow you around permanently, you will be the ultimate consumer cog in a materialistic machine that enriches the ultra-wealthy. And it's so convenient, unlike bothersome cash or an actual bimetallic standard of gold and silver, that are harder to manipulate and control as well as inject more currency with the click of a button and BOOM, your digital currency just got devalued via inflation and the cost of everything grows continually higher also helping garner more control and wealth to the top. I can't wait for the day when you are unable to make a purchase privately without our masters knowing, won't that be great! Praise to you Mammon!

Imagine if you have to pay something and you need to travel 500kms to make that payment. Imagine the travel expense.
Or you need to pay before the end of the working day but you are stuck in traffic as the minutes tick away.
Imagine how inconvenient it's is for you to stand and wait in a long line just to pay your electricity or water bills or send money to your child who is studying in a far away university.
Imagine how electronic financial transactions make the economy stronger, bringing more prosperity.
A few inconveniences against huge benefits in terms of time, money and ease in doing transactions and getting things done is not a losing proposition.

Technology leads to the expansion of heavy industry.
heavy industry leads to the expansion of light industry.
The problem of many east Asia countries is that they don’t have heavy industry (nor technology), so their light industry construction is totally depends on other more developed countries.

You're right in regards to the Phillipines.
      Wrong otherwise. Contextually.

Well, the yellows never had wanted heavy industry. To them, infrastructures cannot be eaten, hence we lagged in development during the last 30 years of yellow's policy.

Through Philippines integrated circuit export has increased 40% in the past 3 years, it’s import also increased for about 25%, and the biggest source of import growth is China, which already had a large electronic industry. So no doubt, Philippines just becomes an assembler of Chinese products, not a true competitive producer.

All talk about broadband coverage, last mile, etc. - it is very important, but for the few years already the bottleneck is connection of the Philippines to the outside world. Even in Manila, where fiberoptic is widespread and phones (theoretically) use 5G most of the time, the actual speed of internet is terrible. Ookla speed tests may show 100MB in one moment, but this is followed by virtually zero speed for the next minute. It fluctuates, probably because of the huge numbers of users competing for the bandwidth. VPNs are getting disconnected here constantly, video calls have poor quality and tend to drop every few minutes. And nobody is really trying to solve this problem :(

The problem of the Philippines are the stupid government officials who are ignorant about cryptocurrency. USA, Hong Kong,Europe and the United Kingdom already approved BTC ETF and ETH ETF. When Philippines? I believe Filipinos are in top 10 globally who holds the biggest cryptocurrencies. The government should pass a bill asap about cryptocurrencies like the USA.

It's was Senators Fault they're Responsible for all the corruption problems in our nation they're didn't give a Crap about the People they're Helping it's makes me Sick
They're didn't listen to the president because they want their own power instead of the president. Just Blame the senators not government and president
