Checking in from Canada here. I've been flying FPV for 12 years now. Still using my iCharger 206B I bought in 2012 and it's been a workhorse but I've been looking at replacing it due to a couple of failing buttons. I used to fly helis and fixed wing, but now it's just FPV quads.

Love your channel, and been in the market for a good two lipo charger. I'm from San Pedro California. Been in this hobby for over 40yrs. Back when I started flying , there was no electric, flew Nitro. Used Kraft transmitters , now I'm just a electric rc plane flyer.

I was looking at these, the M8 and the M4. M4's perfect for portability on micro fliers. I want the M8D to run permanently hooked up in the back of my Nissan Leaf to charge up batteries while I'm flying. Nothing like having a 24kwh battery to charge your lipo's with.
I bought my very first drone from you way back in 2015, a Phantom 2 with Zenmuse gimbal. So it's YOUR FALUT I'm into drones/FPV now! lol... I could REALLY use this charger, as the only one I had (iSDT Q6 Nano) just crapped out on me last week... maybe I'll get lucky, this charger is AWESOME!!!! I'm from East Providence, RI
This season I started flying the iflight x413 8s, and powering it has been a challenge. I've been trying everything from 4x 4s packs on a custom dongle to fat 6600mah 8s Turnigy lipos. There are very few 8s capable chargers and even fewer budget options. That dual port is sexy option to consider.

I've been watching your channel for a few years now but have never flown due to the cost of purchasing everything I would need to fly a cool drone like last years drone of the year. I'd love to start flying if it doesn't cost me a lot of money. I'm from Snohomish County, WA.
I've been using a pair of M6's for a couple years, running off their excellent ADP 100W power supply. While I have a big charging station in the other room, these are on my main desk for convenience - but have slowly taken over almost all charging duty lol. Unfortunately, one of the M6's has an issue, and I've been looking closely at this M8D as a replacement for them. I'm using a Chepo charger, I wouldn't mind getting a better charger for my lipo babies.
Does it have storage mode? II looked at the manual and it "charge, discharge, cycle, destroy" so I don't see it mentioned.
Tell me, does the internal resistance of the batteries show correctly or is this function not accurate? :) I need to test the wear level of batteries at my work. I can, of course, do this with a special device, but it’s more convenient right away while charging. Thank you.

NO! Waste of space. Server power supplies are dirt cheap. $8 for 460W and $20 for 1200W
Not very user friendly. First you have to select a power source and all of them are called "adapter" Can it use a PD adapter into the port on the back? If not, that's confusing. Should say "battery" or "power supply" Also the icons on the screen are mirrored for Watts, volts, IR, ect. Put them in the same position on both sides. And you click "stand by" to charge? The specs look good, but the UI looks horrible. Too bad they probably wont redesign the GUI. Thanks for the review. Would love these specs in a slightly larger M6D format. Just give it a M6D "theme"
