    Wow. Such a flow of nostalgia.
    When i was a young kid, I was absolutely FEARFUL of fire alarms. In the 2010s, we had these types of alarms go off at my school. I got REALLY worried about what was about to happen because of the anxiety. Just seeing a red alarm gave me horrible anxiety for over 10 years.
    Now a teenager, and I'm starting a channel based off of testing and operating fire alarms in my home. One of my dream jobs now is to be able to test them and operate fire systems. I'm definitely not scared of them anymore.

    01:06 and 01:22 Yeah these pull stations need to be replaced as they're not up to code for normal operation as the latch inside is broken and springs back up like a coded pull station which that's not good because it might not signal an alarm and Firefighters and building staff will get confused on how did the pull station activated without it getting pulled when they see the name and address on the panel
    And also they have an issue of being much harder to pull making them non-ADA complient as these are factory defective pull stations
    But yes it's always good to pull pull stations during inspections so that way the pull handles work properly and not just key activating them
    Another issue is that there is partial strobe synchronization as they need to see if System Sensor sync is turned on or if its a syncing problem with the power supplies

    1:22 This is why I don’t trust those pull stations.

      Is it because the light inside of the pull stations were green for no alarms?

    • @aerhardt
      @aerhardt Před 2 měsíci

      @@HenryLikesTrainss No. The pull station was getting stuck. This means that it probably wouldn’t have worked in a real emergency.

    My school has the exact same fire alarm system, devices, and voice evacuation message.

    My school has the same system but with L-series NAs, 951 series detectors, and 3 rounds of 1000 Hz code-3 before the message.

  • @aidanthetoiletelevatorfire7554

    Definitely quieter than the Horn Strobes. Does this have a spoken walk test feature?

      Mine does too. I’m a very sensitive person, so I am easily startled by the fire alarm.
