I flew the A350 from AMS to DTW in April of last year and it was quite similar. Great main meal and the pre-arrival meal was about the same. For a regular economy seat, the service was far better than expected. I flew again with Delta in November (AMS-TPA) and February (MCO-AMS) on their A330 and in both cases, the food was equally excellent. The seats in economy are quite good, so I'll be flying Delta again in June 🙂
Delta is my preferred airline. At my height and the fact i buy main cabin cause i like to sit aft of the wing to watch the flaps. I know those seats have enough pitch i can sit by the window and be ok. Flew them from msp to cdg on the a 330-900 and i only had to get up once about the half way point to take a walk to stretch my legs. Great video. Like another comment said. Glad to see some normal economy reviews. All the 1st/business class and exit row premium reviews are boring. Most of us sit in the back in a normal seat. Need more of those reviews.
Let's face it, their partners Air France and Virgin and probably KLM too are better. Delta is a Skytrax 3 star rated airline. Air France, Virgin and KLM are rated 4 star.
@th8257 that is probably true. I have been on short haul AF and the crew wss awesome but the seatve where not 32 in pitch like seatgurur said. I barely fit. But on delta i fit just fine. Plus none of those airlines has personal air vents for 99% of people that is no big deal. But there are a few of us out there who are always hot. So i have to have that vent. If not i would burn up as they usually keep the inside of the plane on the warm side. So i stick with delta as far as i can go before switching to a carrier that has no air vents at the seat. If the flight is under 2 hrs i am ok but after that i would burn up.
I call DELTA t the "SAUNA OF THE AIR" and not was a coincidence. I flew Miami to Atlanta B757 and then Atlanta Paris A350. No A/C in both flighs. Thanks God I returned in Virgin Atlantic economy class very comfortable. No negative comments about food because everybody know all airlines have poor quality menu.
Nice video but sadly no information on drinks.Was there any drink service at all? Must be.What all is there for economy class and general behaviour of the crew , which anyway in most cases is par exceelent

You should buy a exit row seat that is even better.

How comfortable was the seat? I heard they put memory foam in the padding!
The padding was noticeably better than other airlines. No back pain after this 9 hour flight in a middle seat!
