I TOTALLY FEEL like the XS is a copy. Moyu is innovating and improving on things like the GES and magnet changing and GAN just copies them. Even though they have added more settings to the magnets, they still used the same design...

I'm just glad companies are improving there cubes and making them easier to adjust and set up.

Feliks Zemdegs posted a video about a month ago and he said the he got the prototype over a week ago in the video (Its close to the end if you want to see yourself) So the prototype has been out for over a month for testers which means they had three months to redesign their edge pieces completely so that system would work which they could possibly do , but still as I said before GuoGuan copied them somewhat with the magnet system. I think its great that cube companies are taking other designs and improving on them I don't see why its a big deal if they did copy them they improved on it to give us better customization.

The EDM is like 25$ I think... Is the gan cube worth 3x the money... No. No it is not worth 70$+... No cube is work that much in my opinion...
I'm a 30 year old with a good paying job. I'm not a poor kid. Nobody needs a $50+ speed cube. It's pointless skill that does nothing. Just buy a cheap cube and have fun when bored. I guess if your privileged and have the money go ahead. Still pointless to spend the extra money. A more expensive cube doesn't make u faster. ..

I think that they want to hide the fact that they're copying by adding more than what the original puzzle with the idea had. I think that gan has run out of innovation ideas. They just seem to be trying other mechanisms from other cubes on their own and marking up the price.
MatthewCubes companies use ideas from other companies all the time. They feel completely different and the gan still uses it’s own tensioning system, core design, piece design ect. I am probably going to buy the gan
Considering the price difference, all I see is GAN taking all the innovations from Moyu and then turning it on it's ear to create a single solitary integrated product. Does it justify the price difference for customization? Sure. If you were to get only one cube, the GAN 356 XS is it. Technically, one should be able to tune it to be as good in customized feel like any other brand 3 x 3. It would probably be the first and last cube you will ever buy.... theoretically. Till something else innovative comes out to set the bar even higher. But I doubt it.
Kinda annoys me that moyu said the because of a lightweight design, they cannot produce stickerless, but the gan xs is lighter and still has a stickerless option
I think gan tried to add more of MoYus technology but tried to keep some of their iconic features but overall I think that the gan 356 x looks better than the Xs and if I am being honest event though I love gan cubes more than anything else the edm looks better than the Xs
Trust me the xs is better than both. Lighter, faster, better turning, best customization, corner cutting is effortless, it's more stable, and it comes in stickerless
Wth bro nah look the Gan 356 XS was the original cube to start the first internal adjustable magnet strength system. Gan made that improvement following the Gan 356 X. So the YuXaio EDM copies Gans system not the other way around. But overall the GAN in my opinion is way better than the EDM for a lot of factors. 1 the magnet strength is absolutely amazing since it has 3 options unlike the YuXaio only has 2. 2 the Gan has an overall buttery smooth feeling to it and really compliments the cubes magnet strength, corner cutting and spring compression. With the YueXiao it gives it a weird blocky vibe and reminds me of the Valk 3 if you’re considering buying a new cube I highly suggest the GAN 356 XS. You can wont be disappointed.

I think the reason there was no stickerless is because of that weird cap design shown in the video to hold in the magnets
