Thanks Luc. We would love to bird in Canada.
We are living in such a great and vibrant country. Australia's got some of the most diverse bird species. 🐦
This is true, although Columbia has twice as many as Australia

Thank you Alana and Greg ! Such a wonderful film of your birding 👍
halo bosku hadir ya indahnya alam sama burung2 gak di buru..
Alana & Greg, absolutely fantastic footage , have watched every video in your collection. Your camera work is excellent and commentary fun and informative . Having been to Australia 6 times, travelling from Exmouth in WA right round the South coast and up to Cairns, with a trip through the centre to Darwin and Kakadu. I have only seen 100 or so birds species in Oz myself having only restarted birding the last 2 trips over there. Cant wait for my next sortie down under before my retirement. Best wishes David
Thanks David for your comments and I am sure you will see more birds in future trips.

❤ Nice! Thanks.
You glossed over the Apostlebird, it is the most crazy intelligent bird I have seen next to the magpie.
Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, certainly didn't mean to be dismissive of such a wonderfully charismatic species.
Very very nice.
Th a t was a wonderful video, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Sadly, I can't those kind of adventures but would have liked so much to have been there. 92 now and the legs are no longer to .
Thank you, it was really entertaining.

Nice.parrot.
That was really nice. Nice filming and good clear narration. Especially the highlight given to finches. Among my top favourites. So many years since I have been to several of these places. (The RAOU congress in Katherine in 1981 and camp out at Top Springs). Although I missed finding Gouldian Finches and Star Finches. Sorry just one little suggestion for next time, The pronunciation of the word "insectivorous" is given wrongly each time, as though it is "Insectivirus".
I’ve taken that onboard. Thanks👍
Super kass
😍😍😍🎉
Interested that you got the Red Goshawk at Mataranka Springs. I got it there in 2005 and I'm wondering what year you saw it there. I used to run tours up there and got all the birds you did except for the Yellow-rumped Mannikin (dammit). Your Blue Argus was the bluest I've ever seen!
Hi Ricki, I've checked our records and it was 29th July 2007 that we saw the Goshawk nesting in a very tall tree beside a caravan park at Mataranka. It was a most memorable sighting because we had rented a cabin for a couple of nights and from my bunk I could look straight out the door at the goshawk on its nest.Never before or since have I ever had such comfortable birding!
Lindas aves
That was another amazing video, beautifully filmed and put together. Can I ask how long this trip took and how far did you travel?
Hi Christine, the trip was approx 1400 kms not counting the driving around we did between sites at Kakadu and the trip to Mataranka and back which we did previously for Red Goshawk, which is another 200kms . If that sounds daunting it's not, because the roads are excellent and all sealed. People travel very fast! We took a fortnight. We flew back to Darwin from Kununurra. It's a pity to have to hurry though, as you never know what good drinking spots might pop up. We did do some driving on dirt roads off the highway and as an experienced birder you know that offers some of the best birding opportunities. Hope you will be able to do your Aussie trip some day.
nice
You guys are amazing! have binged all your videos recently and am learning so much :D What area//national park that you travelled to has the greatest density of bird life would you say :)? Keep up the great work guys you have given me many ideas and travel locations to work toward visiting once things start to normalise.
Thanks, glad you are learning so much from our videos. We like NE Queensland around Cairns as a great birding area.
Un paraiso de aves. A ver cuanto logran que les dure.
Yes it is. So glad to see some Spanish. I've been studying it in the hope of visiting South America to bird! Learned a new word from you!

NICE
Wonderful videography and narrative. Also great birding. What camera you used

Nossa! como a Austrália parece com o cerrado brasileiro.
Yes. We'd love to bird in the Cerrado plus see its wonderful biodiversity.
Cocaktaeils 😍😍😍😍
Yep. They're very cute, intelligent birds.
A fabulous video - immediately joined your channel. Both footage and narrative are fantastic . Lots to learn . . .
The Hooded parrots, the Gouldian Finches, the 10(!) Fairy Wrens - but all of them are such adorable, beautiful birds. Important , still sad to hear that almost all are in decline or even in the various stages from endangered to extinct, just like in all parts of the world- and who is responsible? Almost every one of us- especially the "businessmen and bankers that give us jooobs". . . they have to change quickly or must disappear from the face of the planet even quicker. (strictly philosophical and non- violently- not to be misunderstood with some gun-waving lunatics- The lifestyle and the appreciation or toleration of it must cease to be something acceptable - by the right education of the still primitive stoneage minds of a race that has rockets, bomber aircraft - nuclear plants and nuclear bombs and will cut down every tree until none is left and will concrete every squaremile of land until that`s accomplished , too. )
Heartily agree Mart and it's getting worse every day."They paved paradise......."
👍🇺🇦🤝
One i go to Australlia
you will love it . hope you enjoy some wonderful birds.
