MV-22 Osprey @ 2015 Melbourne Air & Space Show!

From the 2015 Melbourne Air & Space Show the Marines MV-22 Osprey performs their demo routine. This was my first chance to film this so I hope you enjoy the video!

I am in the civil air patrol and we were swapping out planes in Asheville North Carolina from a Cessna 182 to 172 and we had the unusual privilege of landing right in front of one of these things so when we were getting ready to take off it was also getting ready to take off and the wind from the rotors was so powerful that before they even got up to full speed it was tossing our little one 72 around like it was a toy in the tower had to hurry up and get another heading for us because they did not want us to take off in front of it because the downdraft would've been too much for the plane to handle so we practically floored it to the other end of the runway and we took off from there

nice vid :-). They were a heinous waste of money and they took decades to complete but I'm glad they're in service and doing their job. And yep, mesmerising lol. Although I do recommend checking vids of automatic firewood chopping machines too :-)
