What you said is partially true but a normal pitch won't be taking longer than 30mins cus they shoot around thousand pitches and upload around hundreds of them only and they doesn't even have that much time that they'll keep on negotiating that's why they usually get offended when someone comes with a counter cus we r just seeing 2-3 pitches in a episode but to just make that episode they go through 7-8 pitches easily so yeah it js irritating

This business has a great profit margin. Sharks just wanted a big portion of it with low investment. That's businessmen do.
Liked the fact that how Anupam showed the confidence in the man even when he didn't find any bridge between him & pitcher personally!
He had great potential and great business that is the reason sharks wanted to join him but at there benefit. Which sadly did not succeed and hence check was torn . Keep going man you can work solely better .
The valuation he asked with his numbers, I am glad he got an offer. There was no way anyone is going to do this at that level. The problem with these apps is, as the scale grows, just the diet doesn't work. There are a range of apps in this place. The biggest problem is with user's motivation to follow the diet. If the user falls of a diet, he will fall of the platform. Which most of the people do, unfortunately. For reversing diabetes and PCOD you need far more engineered platform than what at least has shown on the show. There are not enough details to compliment on the health of the platform. Different people react with different insulin levels for the same food. Arriving at a workable model at scale to stand that claim is very, very hard, but still doable. I am not sure if the company has that level of tech. Fair valuation would have been around 15-20 Cr.

This gave me the same vibe as my ex employers who bonded me under the 3 fcking years of less salary than the market value of my skills, knowledge and experience and refused to listen when I tried talking to them about salary hike. The guy mainly required customer acquisition and sharks could easily do that. Had I been in place I would have made a counter offer: all 5 sharks in at 3 % equity with 40 lacs pouring in each. Had they not accepted it, I would have settled for anything they offered. The guy doesn’t realise he lost the biggest marketing opportunity
