I had a '77 B200 Tradesman that had the sink, changeable dining table to the fold out bed set up. Miss those days...I've never seen another like the one I had.
I had 4 trademans in the 70's and 80's. They were great. I preferred the 318 model 727 trans, that were in most of the early ones. Traveled half the country in one. It was dependable and parts were affordable and everywhere. Love that grill (73). You hit a home run!

Awesome van takes me back to my childhood. I was born in 76 reminds me of the Vans my uncles used to drive, and I used to see on TV shows, also love the hammer rims, tires look nice too.

Being born in '78 I have to say that only great comes from '78. I love the enthusiasm of this gentleman. Hard to not become infected with it. The style is amazing and I love the Dodge B100 style of vans. The interior leatherwork is so sick. I'm truly in love with this van. Excellent work!

Just got engine totally rebuilt. Hopefully get to work on it with my pops to restore this classic gem.

I think i will get what want, and that is a classic Dodge.
I started working out of them in 1980, was a ford and chevy guy for a couple years before.
I put as much as 300 thousand miles on Dodge Vans.
Your son will thank you someday for all you're teaching him now! It's not just knowing how to sand Bondo, it's about pride in workmanship and knowing how to creatively solve problems.
Good video...I've had vans all my life, 1967 Econoline, 77 Econoline, 82 dodge, mercury villager, and now a 1964 ford econoline...all customized.

Man, brings back memories. I had a 78 maxi van, 318. bed in the back and a round card table. The front seats spun around and four of us could play 'games'. Awsome times and awesome van.

Growing up in the 70s i've seen many boogie vans and yours is top shelf. As cool as the paint shop is the interior takes the crown. Every item does at least double duty. And the diamonds look better than wall to wall shag. This van looks like Darth Vader's personal sled.
Dodge and Chevy shorties were the best looking boogie vans. I remember the hammers well but the deep dish centerlines were my favorite. Thanks for taking us down memory lane. I'm getting nostalgic.

Smart reserve fuel. Love the way your van looks reminds me of a hot wheels I had . Right calling SSB a CB modest , nice radio. Diamond tuck is very nice. You need to score a gas ass or grass, nobody rides for free bumper sticker , then you have period correct van. I watched the whole video.

Wes, i watched a show on space saving mini homes in China, you got em all beat. You need to patent those transformer ideas, when you hung that table up i was sure it wàs gonna turn into a dartboard, or something maybe darts thrown at van not so good, but great ideas, home away from home, but still leave the campground looking cool not campy, very enjoyable vid so, Thank you, for a real good time

I'm a Chevy guy but 1970's Dodge shorty vans have a prettier silhouette than Chevy shorties. The early 70's Ford shorties are pretty as well. Both have a shorter more sloped nose than Chevy's that seems fits a lot better with the shorter wheel base. 70's Chevy vans with a longer wheel base look better than the other two because the bulkier, slightly longer nose fits better.
