I lived in Philly for 10 years back in the late 80's-90's. I took a look at the Love restaurant on Google maps and roamed around the area. I see it's near Rittenhouse Sq, which I loved to walk around. While I don't miss the city in terms of size, dirt, crime, etc., I do miss the food scene, even the food trucks. I've been in the heart of small town Midwest for almost 20 yrs now. We have restaurants that try, but they ain't Philly. I did go back for a conference and went to Susanna Foo's before it closed. Now that was an experience!

I’m with your sister… I don’t go downtown (Philly) very often. Basically once a year for a doctor’s appointment although I did work down there for years and also lived at 23rd & Arch 1999-2001 when there were only two parking lots and an abandoned multilevel warehouse near me. Now it’s all built up.
