I love watching your videos, as a mum of 8 so many years were spent “tidying up” kids playroom and it is not fun at the time but now our oldest is 28 youngest is 12 and I miss the little kids toys Your an awesome mum and such a great person to give your viewers motivation so thank you and bless you .

It's impossible to have too many books! Books are the one thing I refuse to declutter. My parents kept all our childhood books and I cannot wait to pass them on to my sister's kids and mine someday.

Please don’t take this the wrong way but how can you stand to have all the kids stuff all over the place upstairs? Your boys are all old enough to put toys away when they are finished before they take another toy out to ply with. I can tell you from experience that the more you clean up things that they can the more they think part of being a mom is being their maid. It is not good for you or them. It is obvious that they want to be with you so making it a game for everyone to clean up their playroom before bedtime will help all of you. Just a suggestion.

This is just an idea but have you ever tried rotational toy boxes? The idea is you have say 10 boxes of toys, you put numbers on the outside, the children choose say one box each at a time at random, then they have those toys out for a couple of weeks then they pack them up and choose some more boxes to replace them, you can't then see which boxes keep their interest and which they just don't play with. It's just an idea thst might work but your doing a great job!! As a preschool teacher I find rotational toys keep the children engaged for longer but as they start to just nit play with them so much or just throw them around and empty you know it's time for a change :) great video :) I'm. It a minimulist either, I need my home to feel lived in :) love your videos :)

There are some people who have a compulsion to clean due to feeling out of control and anxiety from not having everything perfect or in place. There are kids who play with one thing at a time and put things back. That is definitely not me or my family we can have clutter bombs go off in a matter of minutes and have things everywhere. We clean regularly but nothing stays perfect all the time and that’s okay. There is a difference between being tidy with the things you own and actually “cleaning ie vacuuming, cleaning kitchen surfaces, the bathroom ext.”
Totally, my kids get wild with it lol.

Oh that sucks about your leg, I have nerve damage in my left leg(pinched nerve) and I cant feel it, but there are rare occasions where it starts shooting pain and it goes through my leg and into my back, these only last for about four seconds but it feels like I'm dying.

When my kid dumps his legos out. I use a carpet rake to get them all together. And then a dust pan to put them in the bin again.
It lasts for around 15-20 minutes.

I’m someone who has a fairly good cleaning/pickup routine throughout the day and even on weekends but when I tackle a big project I notice how the rest of the house gets destroyed in the meantime. And not destroyed because of things coming out of the room I’m working on, it’s just that I’m not focusing on clutter checks and filling up the dishwasher all day and picking up toys etc.. It really sucks. Especially when the project is done and now your looking at your messy house that needs to be cleaned 😡

That crib should not be there, I’m thinking they can climb up and fall down the stairs, I’m cringing over here so I stopped watching, don’t think I’ll watch again, that really scares me that a mom would put a crib there. Sorry but I call them as I see them, I won’t look for your response because I know that you won’t respond but just wanted to let you know how I felt. Good luck with everything.
No one was sleeping in that crib. It was in the room we recently transformed and in the game room only temporarily. My husband took the crib apart after I filmed those clips.
If you been here from the beginning or earlier on you would know for an actual fact that Madison is an amazing mother who would never put her children in danger. Instead of judging and assuming why didn’t you just simply ask politely?
