i was thinking the same, throw a aifilter / exhaust combo on there and you got something. Of course price wise it is encroaching on the base model Street Triple, but no fairings ...
@@ThatGermanFella Some people will prefer the fairing & less aggressive bars & smaller cc will help keep insurance costs down too. So not a bad idea 💡 by Triumph really.95hp is still decent & like I said it's a smart choice for people who want lower insurance costs & some countries charge bike Registration by cubic capacity so keep bike Registration down too in those countries. In my country it will be LAMS bike & hp be limited but once on full license can de-restrict to full power & some manufacturers sell both versions here.Kawasaki z650rs & Suzuki SV650,Motomorini 6/5 & a few others are available in both LAMS & full power.Triumphs aren't offering both LAMS & full power 660cc versions but you as the owner can de-restrict ECU with a tune & road mode becomes Full power & Rain mode becomes LAMS power but you have to re-register bike as full power version for cost of $300 & de-restrict tune cost several hundred dollars but if deciding to keep bike worth doing.Hopefully Triumph offers this Daytona in both versions here cause it'll be popular. There a few Tridents & Street Triple 660 in NZ 🇳🇿 that have be tuned to full power versions. On the pre 2017 Street Triple 660 you could just swap the throttle grip to de-restrict bike but after 2017 the governor is in the ECU & can be done by Triumph Dealership.I am in that position towards end of year I get full license & either de-restrict Trident 🔱 or stop spending money on it & save & trade or sell Trident 🔱 for newer bigger cc bike like a modern classic like a Triumph Speedtwin900,T100, or Motoguzzi V7 850.Also being able to get full license at end of year T120 sell at Xmas special of $3000nz off so 20k only 2k more than Speedtwin 1k more than Stealth Edition colours.I do like the Stealth Edition colours available for 2024 only but cost 1k more.
4pot brembos & 95hp not far from the old 675 Daytona & with a exhaust system be similar.
I like it I like it alot.

I agree, this is a good looking bike with the right stuff at the right price for realistic fun on the back roads.
@@chrissunde1104 and the 2 year unlimited miles warranty and 10k miles service intervall is a lot of peace of mind.

Os it only me or it lookes like the old yamaha r1 or r6 for 2009 .
A point could be made for that but even the earlier Daytona’s had a somewhat rounded look. I think in general these bikes all look somewhat similar.
I think it looks more like cbr 650
@@alenmathew3770 look at picture of r1 of 2008 and 9 you will understand why I mentioned yamaha
