Ohhhhhhh how do I LOVE steamers!!!! Steam is soooooo relaxing until you end up falling asleep under the steamer and wake up in the ER lol it's fun cuz it's true!!! Great video and I will definitely give steam a try again lol 😂 much love to you!!!!

Generally it's instructed to steam without a plastic cap. Is there a particular reason you steam with one?

+San Michelle I thought I needed a cap 😅 glad to know that I don't. In between my wash days, I usually steam w/o a cap for additional moisture when my hair feels dry tho
Jasmine Rose lol, no with a steamer no cap is needed only with the hooded dryer. If you thought your hair was moist and shiny with the cap, you are in for a treat! 😊

Love the video, but I must say that you would achieve better results without the cap. The cap is preventing the steamer from doing the job of steaming your hair.

Hey Jasmaine! Thanks for the video, it has me thinking. Question, can the hair steamer dry your hair/locs after a wash (similar to a hair dryer) or is it strictly for treatments, opening of the pores and all that good stuff?
