The cat fake stain glass is so funny. When my husband and I first got married my brother grew some catnip because she didn’t like“store bought” catnip. I was in my last semester of college and I had mid morning glass. I had spent a late night at his house. I just came home never thinking anything of it because she hadn’t had anything to do with the other. I woke up to a horrible sound. I ran into the living room thinking someone was trying to break in. She evidently l liked the homegrown better than the store-bought! She was caught up in the blinds she was only about two years old maybe I wish so badly that I had taken a picture it was so funny you would’ve thought she would has was a college student on a kegger and I apologize to anybody that that offends but it was so funny!
At 7:51 The thin cylindrical glasses in another glass bowl is a vodka set. You put ice inside the glass bowl and then pour the vodka into the tall thin glasses it keeps the vodka cold without having it watered down.
CCL fans I’m sure you can relate- at my last GW trip I found myself talking out loud to myself when looking at the shelves and picking things up. Like “oh that’s flashed on, not cut to clear” and “I wonder if that glows”. I had to laugh at myself 😂🤦♀️

I LOVE the egg holder! It's a chicken/hen shaped pressed glass egg holder for your kitchen counter top. The one site I found it on said it is vintage, possibly 1950-70's estimated.
That's neat! My brother has a few chickens at his house - he lives in the country, but it's become somewhat popular to keep chickens in cities. Fresh eggs from chickens are not refrigerated, so this would work to display the pretty eggs!

The glass chicken is an egg holder you just keep your eggs in it, in the UK we don't keep eggs in the fridge so some people use egg holders I have a ceramic one

Seeing that old phone got me curious… WOW! I was shocked! I think I’m going to start looking for a few of them… some go for big money! The one you saw is called a Genie phone… they sell anywhere from$25 and up… the round phones especially the yellow ones go for $50 and up!! Now I’m going to research these a little more… would’ve never thought of them!
Yes! The egg holder. I have a blue one. Love it. I don't know what other people use it for. But it's convenient to hold your eggs during cooking, or just as decor. I hope you make a fortune on it cause it's super cool.

The towel warmer is used at Nail Salon’s. It’s a treat before you polish is applied.

I have social anxiety also. At one point in my life, I had to have my kids do all the shopping. But I got on meds ,so it's not that bad anymore.
When you raise chickens the eggs don’t have to be kept in fridge so probably for farm eggs. I had a modern one and hated it but would love that one! Nice find.
You probably already know. The white heart dish with the red painted decorations around the outside is a hobbiest piece. And push button phones replaced rotary dial phones in the 70’s. That one you were looking at is probably no later than that. Towel heating devices are a thing in hospitals and probably barber shops.
And nail salons for fancy pedicures. 😊

The glass chicken dish is just for holding eggs, eggs in Europe don't need to be refrigerated and often are kept in pretty dishes like this on the counter.

Gotta question when you shop at Antique Market Place of Lemoyne. Sometimes you name the vendors where you happen to browse and or buy items. I go there quite often and would absolutely love it if you could give the boothe numbers or vendors names while describing items. A lot of times I try to figure out where you spot things and I sometimes will try to find it to buy when shopping there.🙂

Hi there I love your videos! when you got the glass chicken that was a deviled eggs holder in the corner to the left of them were a set of four square dishes, those are call temptations, excellent ware that you can microwave, bake freeze and store in. Its very popular on QVC and i think has a great resell value as certain patterns or styles are only available for a certain time period

I absolutely love Arthur Court and just bought 8 napkin rings and a cracker tray for $80 at an auction. Those pieces look lovely, especially the rabbit trivet.

I use cute shot glasses for the grandkids to use for water at brushing their teeth time. I don't use any that have alcohol logo's or weird crap on them...just cute one that have cute thingsl Like flowers or hearts. I have one with a snowman scene and a small just clear glass one that looks like a regular glass, just small. Grandkids don't even realize they are shot glasses. I am selective on the ones they use, not ones that look like shot glasses.

Have you ever thought of bringing a piece of bubble wrap to put in your cart to help keep the pieces you buy from clanking together? You could roll in up and leave it in your car so you'll have it with you when you shop. Just a thought.
Or even a bath towel. Could use one from the store, then leave it.
