    I used your video to change the driver's side mirror on my son's 2005 Mazda 6. Everything was as the video showed. Quick, easy, and painless. Thank you

    That was a great and informative video. I had broken my mirror on my 2004 Mazda and was going to take it to the dealer, but was able to do it myself with a mirror purchased from Amazon after watching your video. The hardest part was probably getting the door panel back on correctly. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

    Very helpful and clear cut where it was most needed. I took a bit longer than your 16 minute video (which is certainly par for my course anyway) but like a few of the previous commentators I appreciated not only having the guidance as to what to do and which order to do it in, but also saving quite a bit of money installing it myself. Many thanks for posting it!

    Thank you!! Just got this Mazda last weekend. $38 for the part on amazon.com... about 1/2 hour to install. Non-heated mirror connects fine... motor works, harness fits, just no wiring for the heating element. Door panel on this car is a dream to work with. Colored outer mirror covers aren't interchangeable (this car is red), so I left it black for now.

    So I watched 3 videos on how to replace the mirror on my 2009 Mazda 6 all of them showed having to take the complete door panel off. That is so unnecessary when you pull the speaker off all three screws to hold the mirror on are right there one of them you have to use an open-end wrench and be a little careful so you don't drop the nut but no need to take the door panel off

    i removed the 3 screws that are required, but it still feels really tight (on the side where you are pulling first to get the door frame off) like there's another screw. i do have a 2005 but its very similar. I'm just wondering if it was a little tough to pull from on that side.

    • @Nemesis099
      @Nemesis099  Před 10 lety

      The first time I went to take the panel off I missed a screw and found it to be held on really tight. If you feel it is held in the middle of the panel maybe Mazda did add another screw somewhere but if it is near the side of the panel it is probably a clip that is really tough as it does take quite a bit of force to get it off.

    No need to pull the door panel.
    Just pop the little corner panel over the 3 bolts, and you have enough access to make the switch. I was done in 5 minutes with a 2012 Mazda 6.

    • @Nemesis099

      I know I had to but I don't know if they changed anything as I think the 2014 was a newly designed model.
