Numark, take this and add engine os and make it a standalone all in one system. Like the mixstream pro but without the built in speakers.

Numark NS4-FX Mic Solution/Workaround:
1. Get/Buy an RCA to female XLR cable
2. Plug in the RCA to the RCA Aux - White and Red.
3. Plug the Mic to the other end of the cable: The XLR female end
4. The Mic1 / Line Button Switch -- Set it to Line.
That's it. Now you have a perfectly sounding Microphone with NO distortion.

They saved on two things that would make this controller perfect, a vu meter for the channels, color pads led and serato dj pro, but they sabotaged the controller

even the advertising video for this is saying use Serato DJ pro so why on earth are they supplying this with Serato DJ Lite even if they charged a bit more for this is would make a lot more sense to ship with dj pro as the controller is really designed for pro and not lite
@@NumarkVideo It turns this into a £750 controller which only lets you use one fx at a time and can't assign fx to each deck. this is far to basic a controller to be worth £750 and I would never use lite. Is the merger with Denon the reason why Numark are only building more gimmicky mixers rather then premium like the ns6ii?
I wish this one can control Djay app in the future because the last time i heard from a source it only can control Serato and Traktor .
For using it on Traktor Pro, Do I need to mapping or just plug & play??

As I see on this controller, the same problem can be found on it like my Platinum FX. The selected pad function button has almost the same bright light like the others. :(

Those white LED lights on the PADS wont be visible playing daytime outside,including that stupid White red lining on the VU meter!Make the pads RGB instead!!!
Needs a LED on the FX trigger pads to warn us when they are still on!

one day, they will discontinue it like the NS7ii...and leave you with a brick unless you downgrade everything and are smart enough to archive/backup old software and drivers and have a dedicated computer. I just went through all of this to unbrick my NS7ii.(thanks Numark for deciding to kill my controller) Gained back a controller after a weekend of reinstalling old OS, old drivers, old serato pro...lost a laptop. My macbook is now an NS7 slave. Thank god serato is a better company than Numark...and maintains relic versions for older hardware. What blows me away is Reverb, Guitarcenter...and other used gear dealers are still offering a discontinued and unsupported piece of hardware for over $500.
"Pro" Level controller with Serato dj lite?
Should come bundled with serato dj pro, almost exactly the same controller with 2 extra channels and xlr outs??? Why would anyone "upgrade" from platinum efx to this? All the best features that make this coma alive will cost an extra $200 !!!!

If I can't plug in my USB Drive and start selecting my music, I don't see the point of these boards coming out every two years. I don't want to lug my laptop every where. Jeez.
