- Edit (1/22/24): A lot of people seem to be watching this after MatPat announced his retirement. Consider this my tribute to him and Game Theory then!
I had the idea of making this mashup because I've been watching quite a bit of Food Theory lately ( / @foodtheory . I only checked afterwards that other people had done it, but none of the others really were the same anyways. Fun fact: MatPat's playthrough of DDLC was a major contributing factor to me starting to upload to this channel again in 2019. So even if I may not watch Game Theory itself anymore, it was a huge part of my childhood, so thank you MatPat.

I actually cried listening to this. Seeing as MatPat's era is coming to a close, and having all he's done culminate into this one song actually opened the nostalgia floodgates at full power. *Well done.* *ABSOLUTELY well done.*

Amazingly done. It feels like a tribute done to MatPat after his send off video for us. I wish he wouldn’t leave. But if he feels it’s time to go, then it is time. And quite frankly I am okay with it despite being sad about it. Yes we won’t hear his iconic “Hello internet welcome to game theory!” Anymore with “That’s just a theory, a GAME theory” but that’s okay. Matthew has earned his retirement. After years of hard work, it’s finally time for the perfect send off, so let’s all make sure it’s a great one. And that’s no theory!
