Kevin Sorbo rose to fame as Hercules, on the hit TV series Hercules, the Legendary Journeys, which marked the starting point of resurgence for America’s infatuation with Superheroes. It was his blend of strength and integrity of the character that made this series beloved in 176 countries, surpassing even Baywatch as the most watched TV show in the world. But Kevin Sorbo had a secret. After an undiagnosed aneurysm in his shoulder, he unexpectedly suffered a series of debilitating strokes. It was the same strength and integrity that caused him to hide this critical illness. Kevin describes it as if an 8.9 magnitude earthquake had struck his head and he had to deal with the damage and its aftermath. He could barely walk and was left partially blind, jeopardizing both his health and his promising career.

I was in a coma and was diagnosed with leukemia.... I later had 2 strokes. It was a difficult recovery, but I did it.

Made me sad hearing this, he must have been very scared, we all think nothing bad will happen to us, I am very happy he is ok now, he's a wonderful, sweet, genuine human being.
