Is a psychiatric nurse and a counselor I just want to say a child should never ever ever be put in front of the TV screen or movie when you don’t know what’s fixing to happen. That kind of stuff can really mess them up for a long time. Like super fear.
My older brother used to frighten me like that very often for his own amusement which was such a big fear for me when I was younger it messed up with my sleep too as I was inable to sleep in darkness since I was like 7 yo, he thought it was funny. I turned out to be just fine other than hating the sh*t out of loud noises, I hate my brother as well, he was a really fucked up dude in our childhood

YUP, happened to me when my sisters had watched the exorcist when I was little. I was already spiritually sensitive if you will. I saw the biggest demon spirit (that was fear), and while it was scary, it was what attacked me that terrorized me. It had super long talons and when it rapped it's arms around me, I could feel its talons digging into my sides. I was to frightened to even try to attempt to verbalize. I couldn't sleep with my back to an opening until I was 18. I had nightmares often, this is why children should never see this garbage.
