I'd say one difference between jubensha and larp (even nordic larp), is in the origins of the play norms. Two key things unique to Jubensha is the mainstream popularity that came from Korean gameshows utilising the play kit from jubensha to have professional actors roleplay and figure out the mystery. Korea does have some unique roleplaying game shows that are effectively larps with reality TV editing involved in it. Not too sure if it's on Western Netflix, but here in Singapore there are two shows I can share.
    1. Zombieverse
    2. Agents of Mystery
The other difference in play culture comes from how cinematic Escape Rooms can be over here. There's a growing number of escape rooms that employ actors to come in a help create tension and build atmosphere in the escape room. Last year I went for two escape rooms one superhero and the other magic school (definitely not a Harry Potter knockoff) themed ones. Both involved multiple rooms and there would be "cutscenes" with actors who performed as we transitioned from room to room.
