      Guys, the players' mindsets shift with each result. If vidit hadnt beaten hikaru twice, obv the others would have been more pushing with white in their games. Its useless to think what could have happened because we cant even accurately predict it

      @@bernardobila4336it looks that way, but note that he's already working on his WC preparation for sure. he can't reveal what he's working on. this can make him look weaker than he actually is. besides, Ding has already played (and won) a WC match. that's important experience which Gukesh lacks. in my opinion Ding has at least a 3-to-2 chance of defending the title, maybe 2-to-1. I'm not a fan (nor an anti-fan) of either of them, i try to look at that objectively.

    I've been following the candidates at every step through all the rounds but it just got real when Gukesh said , "It's always been my GOAL to win the world chess champion title " Not *dream* , not hoped to become , *GOAL* ! I didn't know what to expect out of Ding Vs Gukesh , but now that I've seen this , I know it's gonna be a great show ! Looking forward to what he brings to the World Championship Event !!!

    We were waiting for gukesh to make that one blunder.... he never broke. Curse that fabi for missing 64. Qe8+, which marks the beginning of the end for nepo. I was surprised fabi didn't keep pressing for the win instead of offering a draw and allowing gukesh to avoid tiebreaks. Never thought fabi would choke again. 64. Qe8+ Ka6 65. Qe2+ wins the h2 pawn and it's game over.

    Gujesh Vibhuti in forehead increased his power through lord shiva . Prag also has . But Vibhuti added to his karma gave him luck. Without Vibhuti gujesh could have ended third or fourth behind fabi and naka. Magnus could not assess the power of Vibhuti. OM Namashivaya

    Theory: Nepo, Fabi, Hikaru drew because they think Liren will drop or be bought out so they can play for 2nd place. In particular, Nepo & Fabi think FIDE won't just choose Hikaru because on score tiebreakers.
