This video was great at helping me find the same little ribbon cable. My issue was fixed by adding some foam tape above the closure mechanism to ensure the ribbon contact. Thanks Augusto!

Hey please I plugged my jbl flip 4 to a wall Switch that was shaky and then I believe the power fluctuated and spoiled it . Because I was trying to adjust the charger on the wall to stabilize and charge properly . In the cause of doing so, Suddenly the speaker died . Please I don’t know what could be the problem . Me 2, its possibly the battery but when I play mine with the 5 white dot lights showing its fully charged, it goes red down 2 one dot really fast and when I go 2 charge it, it shows 3 or 4 solid white dots and the 4th or 5th blinks showing its supposedly charging but it should start with the first light, something isn't right.
That happens to my Flip 5 ! I was on fireeee !!!!! 😠😠😡 couse its brand new. I was plannig to return it or exchange it, nah...i opened it and that was the problem. 😒 Thanks my brother for the info. 👍
My jbl 4 does charge but then it turns off after a while of using it and when it says it’s fully charged i use it for 10 minutes and then it starts to die. Will this work for my jbl?
It might be an issue due to a faulty battery, I need to know which battery I will be using as a replacement and hopefully I could get one with a higher capacity, but I don't where to get it yet. I suggest that you factory reset you JBL device and then see if you got a battery(turn on the device and press and hold +/> until the device reacts), and you could use ear phone wires to fix the crackiling noises on your speakers.
Damn I was hoping i wouldn't have to take it apart, I don't have the tools my dad does and since it's not his speaker he doesn't care enough so he wants to fix it on his own time which wont be anytime soon
How the heck did you get that battery out so easily? Like I’m trying over a month to get it out and it won’t budge it’s glued shut. I’m scared I’ll puncture it and it will explode if I push it from the other side, please someone help me

Like for real I don’t know what kind of glue the used but eventually I got it out last week and ordered a new battery. Hopefully I have it up and running, but oh boy was it a challenge to get it out since is was swollen.
My JBL is different the power and Bluetooth are close to the top, volume is on very top with some type of button on top. Not takig charge or turning on

The screws are stuck. It's really hard for me to get one last screw to get the rubber rim off the speaker...

the accent made this 200% better
take care with the screwdriver. the speaker magnets are strong and the screwdriver might be attracted and pop the speaker membrane. (happened to me :(
