There is a novel called red tea(eriyum panikaadu) which states most horrifying life experiences of the tea estate workers in 1930, and the director bala made a movie paradesi from this novel only. I thought this episode is based on that, but there were few scenes based on that. Overall this is a great episode, thanks to the whole direction team for making this. I wish everyone would have read that book, that's a great one.

I'm a field officer in tea plantation @munnar same content which was happened during 90's and now it's like one way u can't imagine or think about anything else .they give allowances like home , medical,water ,power literally everything ..that make workers to continue here itself . Still now they didn't know outside world . content was really good..!
And that content is not today's reality , people getting good salary their children education level is really high .and I'm proud to say my parents are tea plantation workers'.!
