    I had this and while it’s good, it’s not great, esp on the lower back and depth isn’t brilliant. Just moved to the force USA version, actually goes fully flat for hack squat and has shoulder bracing. Goes much deeper also.
    Things to note on these, if you are strong, you will max these out. I’m not that strong and easily max it at 350kg. You have to remember the unit is at 29 degrees so you basically divide the working weight by 2. So I can load up with 350 kg on the hack and do 20 reps. I can’t load 200kg for 8 reps on the commercial hack at the gym. Just things to bear in mind.
    If you have a remotely dodgy lower back. Avoid this machine, the bend it puts on the back with weight is not great.
